Victoreem the V of doom 30 #26 Posted September 16, 2009 Parts of resident evil 4 got me to experience abnormal heart rates...SHUT UP! 1: first time you enter the village and I mean the VERY FIRST TIME, you get ass raped by dirty Spanish peasants. Your all like,"LUL get away frum mee nuub ima shoot youz in da head!! ma branes arnt for you foo." Then you turn around and Mr chainsaw is mid swing and the second you realize what hes got in his hand your like FUUU.... 2:First time you fight the "novistadors" (bug things)in the sewers. Every other time its kinda lame. 3:When you fight Salazars personal guard after you fall into the trap. My god this fucker gave me a heart attack first time around and he still gives me peek heart rates. 4: The lab where the re-generators are. They still make me hate having to fight them. I can't play it anymore 'cause I lost my copy, but still, all I remember is a bell tower and then monsters popping out everywhere. Ah... Yeah. But for future titles? LOL Scariest game I've ever played has got to be Super Monkey Ball II, when I was just a about 6 I think. Only because it was late at night, I was home alone, already in the freaked out mood. My gamecube started spazzing out and my power went out. I think I shit myself IIRC. ScarletRose 1 #32 Posted October 12, 2009 I'd have to say Silent Hill 3 and Fatal Frame. I had to play Fatal Frame in chunks. I could hear my heart trying to escape from my chest at one point. lol. Was so worth it. I love things that scare the shit out of me and make me scream like a little bitch, because I usually end up laughing afterward. Silent Hill 3 was like "Wtf controls" and was almost as dark as Doom 3 in certain places. Dashuu 11 #35 Posted October 12, 2009 I'm going to say Dead Space for the scariest modern game, specially if you go with hard mode your first run through. Then I'm going with Resident Evil 2, the storyline made it all the more spooky. Some government arms company makes a super virus and accidentally unleashes it on a nearby city while you, a local cop new to the beat or the sister of someone who was on a clean-up crew that mysteriously disappeared, have to explore the city for the first time despite it's new zombie residency. Silent Hill was also great, but I'm a resident evil fan over silent hill. Now, for just plain classic difficulty scariness, the very first Prince of Persia for the PC. Terrifying. Its loud and happens very fast. Because of the camera angle you enter the room with you looking at yourself running towards it.I probably jumped 2 feet off my ass.
