You can admit that a random third party application based on reversed engineered code emulating Valve's game could count as cheating. In fact EA is known to permaban/delist for this sort of stuff and I'm sure they are not the only ones. But, then again the server was not Vac secured and therefor in a way safe to cheat on (loophole of sorts). So they couldn't vac ban you and probably didn't want to so -this- was the next best thing.
