I was recently votebanned off of your servers and accused of "wall hacking"? I don't even know what this term means and my main class is demo. UN|ON>>TheWino constantly accuses me of hacking simply because I top charts. He also stated that I can see spies while they are cloaked, yet I still get back stabbed by him from time to time. God Hates Lags initiated the vote, which happened at a time where our team wasn't even doing well. The vote passed and here I am. My steam name is Broseidon, Lord of the Brocean. I play on your servers every day, NORMALLY, and do well without hacking at all. I'm sure many people can support me on this.

Well I just got banned again for "hacking" by God Hates Lags. Immediately after I just got back in. He was telling everyone to vote "for" the ban, simply because he hates my guts (while the Un|on>>TheWino just sat back and had a laugh at the situation), and is a donator so he can instantly initiate a vote.

Even though it's just for 30 minutes, I really don't like the idea of being votebanned off of my favorite server every single time I get into a game with TheWino or God Hates Lags just because of their hate for me.

Let me introduce myself. My go by TheWino and I've been playing TF2 since it came out. I have played on a lot of servers with a lot of different people. I don't go randomly accusing people of hacking I come on to play and have fun. I have been playing on the Lotus Clan servers for a while now and I enjoy them a lot as I do SourceOP servers also.

Here is what I have observed about Broseidon and what makes me believe he uses wall hacks and an aim bot.

For starters you run around as a demo firing stickies which all seem to land right in front of where people are running I've seen u take down 4 people everyone running in different directions and each one of them having a sticky land in front of them. They never land around them or behind them always ahead of where ever it is they are going. It just doesn't seem to fail I mean maybe he's just that good. But its consistent every time he gets out there.

Then I got to see him as a sniper same thing boom head shot boom head shot boom heads shot. I say "ok I'm going to try a different tactic on him I'm going to try spy" and see how it goes. I run around get in position do I best to not be seen by anyone. I Stand still until I see him run by and as soon as I decloak Bam I go down. Ok try again and again and again same result. So I think to myself "ok maybe he can hear me decloaking" I stay very far when no one else is looking get into position I go for the stab again he knows when I'm there no matter the situation he just KNOWS a spy is there.

If it was just me trying these tactics I would say "Ok it's just me I'm terrible at this game." but I play with friends and were all on the same vent server and he just knows where people are running and when there is a spy in the area around him when no other player behaves in this way.

Then there Turtle his friend, I think because the both seem to be on playing at the same time. Turtle is his personal medic and I really didn't think anything much about him until today when after Broseidon got banned he got a bit mad. Again as spy I would be in the most random spot a lot of people run by me but Turtle would be on the opposite part of the map and he would come back and start spy checking at exactly where I was. I mean it could happen maybe once twice maybe three times? But no its consistent every time as if he's spidey senses would tell him someone is standing on that ledge or wall. I really try to be random being in different locations get there in different ways but they just seem to know where a spy is. The best one I saw was on payload 2 of us were running through the tunnel cloaked and as soon as the guy in front of me was going to exit the tunnel Turtle dropped in from above right on to him and then started chasing me when I was still cloaked. I really wish I had recorded it cause I started laughing at how obvious he was being.

I've played a lot of FPS in a lot of communities have been a regular at Moongamers and Cantstop Gaming , 5th Ranger Batallion and many others. I don't go randomly accusing people of walling or aimboting or anything like that unless it's extremely obvious like the case with Broseidon and Turtle.

Hello My Name is Chelsea.

I am Turtle. That is correct, Whino, I do love playing medic. I am Brosiedons friend. I do not hack in any way. In fact I usually die to you, the spy that always seems to know just where me and Brosiedon are. I also had nothing against the Wino until last night when he teamed up with God Hates Lags to continuously accuse Brosidon of cheating.

Here is the thing, Brosidon gets ubered/kritzed by not only me but als by Agent D, Dr.Lucksman, and any other medic on the team. His chances of killing you are really high when he is constantly being ubered/kritzed. On a normal bases he will get ubered/kritzed, maybe, two or three times in a row.

Brosiedon plays everyday on the same servers. He plays for about 10 hours a day from about 3pm-1am server time. Playing on the same servers for 10 hours a day will cause anyone to understand where spys would be, where people tend to be, and how to avoid and kill them. He is not perfect, I have ubered him a handful of times and not recived a single point. However, He is really fricking good.

I think that its sad that you two are abusing the Lotus donor privileges to ban someone that is obviously not doing anything wrong.

I have been on the Lotus server when there was actual hackers (both speed hackers, wall hackers, and aim bots). It is so painfully obvious that there is no question. The few times that there were actual hackers, I could not leave spawn. If I recall you have killed me as well as Brosidon, many times with some type of backstab. If we were hacking you would not be leaving spawn.

If I was hacking I would defiantly not play medic. What would I do kill the entire team with some needles? Come on.

I can vouch for Broseidon as well. No offense to Broseidon, but I really can't see him even knowing or understanding how to use any sort of hack or aimbot, I've known him longer than anyone on this server and in real life so my word is stronger than his detractors. I think the issue now is Broseidon trying to play normally without being banvoted seconds within getting in. As a member of the community, I guess Wino does have the right to issue banvotes where he sees fit, but now it's become a he-said-she-said sort of deal so proof is needed. I can provide a game-play video of Broseidon playing via Fraps and spectating and show no wrongdoing is being made, I'm sure that will suffice? I can literally drive to his house and show him playing in real life as well, but do we need to go that far? It's a waste of gas.

Have you ever stopped and considered the thought that I AM just that good? That I earned my ~100s rank on these servers? That the people playing on the opposite TEAM, in a game called TEAM fortress, might be using mics to talk to each other like any TEAM would do? That the reason we are able to kill you as a spy is because it's so PAINFULLY OBVIOUS that you're going for us first? Yes, you can hear someone using the Cloak and Dagger decloaking. It's extremely subtle, but it can be heard. You know what else can be heard? Other people on the same TEAM giving you tips about the enemy. This is called spy checking bro.

You want to accuse me of aim botting when Sniper was my first class that I even got decent at? I learned from the best snipers who owned me over and over. I actually LEARN things unlike someone like you who just can't believe that 1 other person in the world can be better at something than you. I learn from people who are better than me in game, I never once think of vote banning them because they must be using some kind of hack.

Seriously, since you're such a desperate whiner, we can video tape me playing any single class you want, hauling ass without any hacks. We can even include you dying in it if you would be so kind.

I too can vouch for Broseidon, I play with him and Turtle, and many of the same group nightly on Lotus' West Coast Payload Stocks server. he's just damn good. he kicks my ass when we play against each other (usually Demo vs Demo), but I've never suspected him of cheating. I know how he plays, and he's just a beast with those stickies.

it also should be noted that Turtle is an awesome medic, and when she's ubering/kritzing me I go off as well.

what's funny about this whole situation is that God Hates Lags is my brother. I didn't know about the whole banning thing until tonight when Grape Jello told me about it when I joined the server. yes the votebans are only 30 minutes, but I know it must be annoying, and I explained to my brother that Broseidon is not a hacker, that I play with/against him nightly he's just good. I'll try to reiterate that again to him.

my brother is also a donor to Lotus, so when he initiates a vote it goes up right away because of the donor privileges, and people tend to vote yes on those without asking why because they feel like people won't try to voteban without a good reason. also, let me say that my brother isn't calling for these votebans to grief you Broseidon, he honestly believed you were hacking/aimbotting/whatever because you were owning so much. again, I'll try to break him of this opinion.

also, as for the whole shooting "cloaked" spies thing, I do this on occasion as well. the spies don't always know if they're shimmering, whatever that effect is called. but I wasn't on the server when this was going down and didn't see any of it so I can't speak to Wino's situation, just that spies aren't always as invisible as they think they are.

You and your buddy are both obvious hackers, and the fact is, even thought it takes one person to initiate voteban, it takes over 50% of the server to actually carry it out. I have personally played as spy and observed your "random" re spy check after you run by once and notice me from the corner of your eye. I hope to God a donor is on to voteban you two every time you connect to the server, because you ruin the game for everyone else not using cheats to get more points. who are these people you speak of? I've been playing on the Lotus West Coast Payload server with Broseidon for months, and yesterday was the first time anyone (that I know of) accused him of hacking. it was so out of line that when I joined the server people that Broseidon and I regularly play with immediately told me about it and how much bullshit it was.

longest kill streak is 38, now if he was aimbotting he'd get 50 before the second point on Badwater was capped. you'll also notice 9+ days of total connection time to Lotus servers. that's mad play time. dude puts in the hours and is good, that's all there is to it.

with that said, here are my stats: http://stats.lotusclan.com/X/hlstats.php?mode=playerinfo&player=2269 longest kill streak is 30, yes as sniper, between points 1 and 2 on Gold Rush stage 3, on the little staircase, you can headshot motherfuckers for days in that spot if you have a good team also holding them back. so Broseidon's longest streak is only 8 more kills than mine, probably because he knows the maps and where to rack up kills easily. when you play the same 3 maps on the Payload server, you know all the little spots like the back of your hand, all the angles to bounce nades off, and the vantage points to snipe from.

and that's the crux right there. there's a group of about 6-7 of us that play together nightly, we aren't in a clan, we're just server regulars that know how to play with each other,and when we're all on the same team the other team gets owned hard. ain't nobody hacking, just people owning.

I can personally vouch for Broseidon. He's not on my friends list, but I have played with him and against him many times. I dread it when he comes on because it's usually when I'm trying to climb my rank with Lunchbox. xP. He's a good demo, it's just that simple. No hacks needed. As long as you observe and learn people's behavior you can rape them for hours without dying as long as you have a good sense of survivability and (a) good pocket medic(s). Look at KillerKeg, huge example of this. It's called leading your targets.

Now, if he was really hacking you would have seen the occasional "Is someone hacking? Take a demo and post it on our forums!" that pops up on the servers, and would have taken one. And you could have avoided the fact that you're abusing donor powers since this could have been so easily resolved and disproved on the forums instead of votespamming a good player.

Iv only been playing on that server for a week or so, but I can definitely vouch for brosideon+turtle. They are not even close to what hackers look like.

For the record its not exactly difficult to mop the floor with demoman in a 32 player payload server. Or as a sniper(I go 100-10 with a good 50 assists every game as a sniper on this server )
