serpenty 1 #1 Posted January 2, 2010 Ok... There isn't much to tell. Ye Ol' land is big (300x300), hightly detalized map that can be used for either 2v2 or 1v1v1v1 battles. Players' starting positions arent well-balanced(for example: northern players have easier-to-defend bases; south-eastern player have problems with water supply; etc.) but there is also no real advantage for any of them. Big distance that separates players from each other will probably prevent them from using rush tactics, but complicated landscape with lots of various ways to follow helps to plan hideous ambushes and cunning atacks in later gameplay. This map always gives a possibility for atacking forces to choose between exploiting height advantage against opponent's troops and crawling to his base via additional (and possibly unprotected)routes. This map can be considered as boring by most professional players, but i am sure it will bring joy to all people who likes to play really good-looking br maps (yes, there aren't many maps of this kind). Also, it will be a good answer for "what will you get if you ever put some effort into your map" question . I will try to finish the map tomorrow(not sure), so it's going to be uploaded quite soon. And here is a screenshot of all map (don't forget, it's uncompleted yet)... Ah, one more thing: most maps usually have worser appearence in game than they have on screenshots. This one isn't. serpenty 1 #2 Posted January 8, 2010 I have finished the map. It took so much time cause of serious PC problems i had at this week . Here is some in-game screens: Fierce battle for ruins of ancient building. This time dragon have defeated serpent. Serpent squad investigating ruined embankment. Looking for treasures, eh? OMG, Creepy ritual! Desecrating of dragon tomb or something... Okay, this is some real stuff. Shinja:"hmm, this guy reminds someone for me..."
