Clan Tag Stealing And Abusing.

Hey there! As an active clan, with daily use on your Counter Strike: Source servers, the HFS clan has been quite common around your servers. Our clan has played many many hours on your server and has actually gained many awards on your servers aswell, along with a few of our members being in the Top10 for a time.

Even though we've made our own clan server, we continue to play on Lotus quite frequently. We've helped coordinate votebans on hackers and spammers many times on the server. But with our frequent gameplay problems have emerged. Many users on the Lotus server have taken on the HFS clan tag without being a member, or even a person that is associated with our clan in any way. These users bearing our tag without our permission are abusing the 'power' of our clan, so to speak.

They recruit random members on the Lotus server, claiming to be real members of our clan. Some users have actually mistaken HFS as being the clan of the Lotus server, which is pretty much our mistake with our amount of time on the server, but a number of our members have applied for administratorship on Lotus to help out since you guys don't seem to have many active Admins.

Anyways! When a bunch of our members get on your server at once, a significant amount of users, ranging at times from 1-10 will take our tag and keep it for many days. We've asked players to remove the tag nicely and a few oblige but many ignore us, thinking they actually are members of our clan. Silly kids. A few kids running around with a tag in their name wouldn't be a big problem but then they send many players our way to seek membership in our clan. Plus, worst of it all, these 'members' work together and ban real HFS members when called out on their bullshit.

Not only a problem to us, but a problem to your server as well and we'd like to bring this to your attention immediately so we can work together to help prevent this. We're going to resubmit our applications, just in consistency to our goal of helping stop the spread of evil in the peaceful land of Lotus!

And just incase any Admins load up Counter Strike, after reading this and aren't sure who the real users of HFS are, here's a list so you know who the REAL members are, I will be sure to keep this updated frequently.

If you find someone using your clan tags to troll and otherwise make things hell for the server-- especially if they break rules and do continual griefing, aimbotting, hacking, etc-- then please post a demo of it in the ban request forum.

I thoroughly enjoy watching our banlist get longer.
