Microemission 1 #6 Posted February 4, 2010 Well.. im new to tf2 and only met schoolgirl a few weeks ago, but she certainly wasnt spamming music everyday on lotus2fortUK server, which was where i met her. Besides, there are certainly many option to stop the spam in case its really bothering everyone: 1st) votemute 2nd) esc>mute player>choose player>mute 3rd) mute your sound/lower your volume 4nd) votekick 5th) voteban (ok i understand he shouldnt be doing none of that music playing, which i liked, and shouldnt bother anyone to do any of these options, so that may be a warning for her) So many option you have to choose from, in which a permanent ban doesnt apply here(in my opinion of course) Permban for hackers/cheaters/exploiters/scripter... for that.. i truly believe a ban of great consequences(long time) should be applied. Another thing i have searched all this forum was the lotusclan server rules for quite some time.(I was mainly concerned about cursing and spawn(door)kiiling). All i could find was good manners, no spamming, and of course no cheating and not to steal/use lotusclan tag. If theres a page concerned about lotusclan rules,please to inform me right away She didnt do any of that, and therefore in my opinion should not deserve a permanent ban. If it was because of some laziness or busy at the time, and applied permaenent ban, ok i understand. Now if you have some time in your hands please reduce this time to 2 weeks, which are 20160 minutes. (used google calculator 14days*24hours*60minutes). I hope its not too much to ask, and should be considered a warning for her for future stuff that may happen. She is a good player and i thing all good and respectful players should be allowed to play in this amazing (i think the best of tf2 community) server. Tesla_fr asked at the start for a temporary ban, not for a permanent one. Thank you for your time. Did people asked the he/she human being to stop ? did he/she complied or continued to ruin everyone's game ? these are questions to be answered and if incriminates the he/she human being than it's not good. It's like taking care of little kids on these servers , sometimes you have to make an example of an individual , sure your request is reasonable and might happen , it's just my opinion i'm throwing here that some people deserve severe punishement when they play on a free server and abuse it. That's all I can really say... it's non-stop mic-spam, continues while the person is dead, and they repeatedly disconnect and reconnect to avoid mute/kick/ban votes... not to mention it goes on for AGES. I don't really care how many times you've played with this person and they've not done it... what matters is that they did actually do it, and it pissed someone off enough to get a good demo and come here requesting a ban. Should the ban have been temporary? Probably. It's one of those gray areas where you're not really sure if the person will change after being temporarily banned. Anyways, if Socks really wants to be unbanned, tell them to post an unban request. Those are reviewed by Mana, not me, so they'll have a chance at being unbanned. Well while you're in game, and they start with their faggotry again you press Esc or whatever you bound your menu key to, and oh looky. A Mute Player option. Click. Find the name. Click Mute.
