dwg 0 #1 Posted November 2, 2009 Have you thought about adding class limits to some servers? I usually play Goldrush East Coast server and the other day we had 7 snipers and 0 engineers on defense. I'm not asking for extreme class limits, but maybe limit snipers to 5 or something? 7 snipers is ridiculous =(
+Henry Spencer 117 #2 Posted November 2, 2009 If your team really wants to fail that hard, join the other.
Oww My Nose 19 #3 Posted November 2, 2009 i think there should be a minimum class limit. no less than 8 snipers per team, otherwise, that's just ridiculous
Graedus 9 #4 Posted November 2, 2009 How about a vote to scramble everyones class?
kuttlewug 28 #5 Posted November 2, 2009 I always find it funny when a team fails that hard. Either wait it out and see how your team does in a few rounds, join the other team or new server.
Oww My Nose 19 #6 Posted November 2, 2009 How about a vote to scramble everyones class? that would be so annoying... and probably wouldn't last at all, people would just go back to their useless class in a respawn
Captain Planet 28 #7 Posted November 2, 2009 If your team has >50% snipers, you are destined to win. Did you not know this?
Oww My Nose 19 #8 Posted November 2, 2009 what if it has >50% snipers and >50% cloak and dagger spies hiding in the map
Graedus 9 #9 Posted November 2, 2009 My suggestion was meant as a joke During one of the Lotus practices everyone started the round as a random class during an Arena match. You had 5 seconds to decide to stick with the class you had to get one more chance to re-roll. It was hilarious.
Oww My Nose 19 #10 Posted November 2, 2009 lol i remember that. it was pretty fun
Rigormortis 15 #11 Posted November 2, 2009 what if it has >50% snipers and >50% cloak and dagger spies hiding in the map Then you would have >100% players which would mean that one player would have to be a spy with a sniper rifle, or a sniper with a cloaking device.
Oww My Nose 19 #12 Posted November 2, 2009 or your team was just giving 110%... obviously if you count spies disguising as snipers, then you could have 100% snipers and >50% spies
Rigormortis 15 #13 Posted November 2, 2009 I like my hypothetical scenario better.

The spy does have a sniper rifle (Read: Ambassador)
Rigormortis 15 #16 Posted November 3, 2009 The spy does have a sniper rifle (Read: Ambassador) Eh, if the ambassador wasnt so innately inaccurate it would be better than a sniper rifle.

Spartan_0214 18 #18 Posted November 3, 2009 Eh, if the ambassador wasnt so innately inaccurate it would be better than a sniper rifle. WTF? It's one of the most accurate weapons in TF2. It just happens to lose accuracy the faster you fire it. Kinda like all the other weapons.
Rigormortis 15 #19 Posted November 3, 2009 Eh I find the bullets to skew when I'm shooting at long ranges, even if it's the first shot.

Happiness 0 #21 Posted November 3, 2009 I think there should be some sort of limit on the classes, has anyone else had the fun of attempting to defend badwater with 6 snipers and 4 spies out of 16 players? it wasn't until the payload was about a foot from the end that they all decided to go pyro instead... I hope none of these tactical geniuses end up leading anyone into battle.

Damn, you gotta unbreak that shit. Quite possibly some of the best fun I've had in TF2, before dustbowl forgot it has three stages anyway.
