i'd rather listen to the music of the gunfire, the non-dead ringer spies uncloaking ( you can hear those? you hacker) you can hear the level of the sentry around the corner, you can hear what the engineer is building, if someone is calling for medic, all this and more can be heard if you just turn off the music, because if you don't have a headset, we can hear it too.

Dont you get bored though? I mean sure it's always helpful to know whats coming up your ass without having to turn around but for a class such as demo or solider I tend to aim my frags alot better when listening to some good music (ps: I use a headset)

I meant bored of the usual sound of the sentry screwing some poor pyro thats trying to destroy it using the homewreaker (cause he just got the weapon and thought he should give it a shot) or people talking on the mic or everyone yelling medic when there isn't one on the team..... that kind of boredom.

Why would you ever listen to music while you are playing a team oriented online game? Not only are you limiting yourself to one of your five senses, but you are also being a dick to your teammates because you aren't communicating.
