kuttlewug 28 #3 Posted July 26, 2010 Haven't PC gamers always been better? Oh right! :'D
Dashuu 11 #4 Posted July 27, 2010 I know I'm about to make a target of myself, but I own a 360. Of course, I tend to use it more as a media streaming device to get my media from the PC to the TV. Having been to a lot of events where gamers gather, I've noticed the trend mentioned in the article as well. Now, Microsoft and Sony have both mentioned a project to allow cross platform multi player on shared titles for their upcoming consoles. So PCs gamers may have another chance to play against their console counterparts. As a gamer who plays on both, I think it could be done. If the controller is holding console gamers back, I'm sure they could easily apply a mouse and keyboard to their new system. This sounds like an easy problem to solve. kuttlewug 28 #5 Posted July 27, 2010 It is easy to solve very much so! Don't worry I have both a PS3 and 360. I was just playing my PS3 earlier. When it comes to shooters though I much prefer PC.
Krash 1,040 #6 Posted July 27, 2010 I own a PS3 just so i can occasionally play Little Big Planet and watch my Blu Ray Band of Brothers. And do COD4 when i get temporarily bored of PC.
Brokkoly 11 #7 Posted July 27, 2010 the wii actually takes input for a mouse and keyboard, but not for games, only for browsing the menus and using the wiinternet.
You suck and have no life 203 #8 Posted July 27, 2010 Way to state the obvious. Have you tried playing starcraft on N64? You would be lucky if you had 50 apm.
Mana 3,867 #9 Posted July 27, 2010 the wii actually takes input for a mouse and keyboard, but not for games, only for browsing the menus and using the wiinternet. So does the PS3, it also works in a few games like UT3.
Brokkoly 11 #10 Posted July 28, 2010 but one thing about keyboards on consoles, they most likely will make it so that you have to buy one type of keyboard, so that they still make money from each one, that, or they may not implement a full keyboard, but maybe something like a frogpad. kuttlewug 28 #11 Posted July 30, 2010 but one thing about keyboards on consoles, they most likely will make it so that you have to buy one type of keyboard, so that they still make money from each one, that, or they may not implement a full keyboard, but maybe something like a frogpad. This is why we stick with a PC, buy a controller for it if really needed and can map the buttons however we like.
