Ban Request - Tf2 Walling/aimbot Toggling

Recommended Posts

So this is a bit of a delayed request, but I will explain why:

On the 24/7 2fort (West Coast) TF2, two players started playing somewhat regularly as of this Christmas break. At first I didn't believe either to be hackers, as I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I began to notice some behaviors that tends to be as a result of walling(tracing people through the walls/floors). I didn't get any footage at that time, as they seemed to turn off whatever hacks they were using when I went spec(they got substantially worse).

Bringing things up to speed, however, I hopped on 24/7 2fort on the 29th of December around 3 AM, as I saw Wage and wanted to destroy his nub ass. When I joined, I noticed that one of the dudes I played with before, and suspected him of toggling, was on. As I played for a bit, Wage messaged me to tell me he was pretty sure both *Quick>Fire! and someone named Penguin were hacking. Penguin, as it turned out, was the fellow named "kot kopf" I played with and also suspected of hacking before. I considered him to be a pretty annoying dick, as he was a "u mad kid/u bad kid". Either way, it became very apparent that both of them were buds, as they often traveled together, and whenever *Quick>Fire! killed Wage, his buddy, "kot kopf" would immediately begin mocking Wage. Regardless of such dickery, I managed to get 3 very incriminating videos on *Quick>Fire!:

# 2532 "*Quick>Fire!" STEAM_0:0:40160755 1:53:35 91 0 active

Demos available at: http://atom.exoss.net:8080/dem/

kot2.dem -- Don't remember exactly where off the top of my head. I can get precise timings if you want, tho.

kopf.dem -- At the end, he aimbots Wage

quick.dem -- at the end, again aimbotting.

It's interesting to note that *Quick>Fire! was masking his ping, as it was always at a constant 5(or at a 1, when I originally played him). Wage enlightened me to the fact that this can be accomplished by putting "cl_cmdrate +1" (or plus whatever) to mask it as that number.

Sadly, even tho I spectated for over an hour, Penguin/kot kopf refused to turn 'em back on. As Wage told me, he got to around 100 score or so very quickly as sniper, and once he stopped toggling, he remained around that same score. All in all, a much worse player than *Quick>Fire!, as he could barely navigate corners sometimes and tended to shoot walls(and not as a result of walling), but an extreme dick in his own right. Too bad being a complete asshole isn't grounds for a ban. At any rate, I will keep my eye on him whenever I play. His status dump is:

# 2520 "Penguin" STEAM_0:1:10110064 2:39:41 106 0 active

So, as to why this is delayed about a week, is that since I believed both of them to be buddies, I wanted to get a demo of kot kopf hacking as well - seeing that if his friend got banned, he may be a lot more careful about toggling(on the flip side, he also may just piss off).

Also, sorry for tl;dr.

Thanks for posting this, Pochy.

This hacking fuck (and all the other ones popping up on 24/7 2Fort West x33) is why I haven't been on Lotus servers much lately. Maybe when Mana decides to read his PMs I can get my donator status switched to that server once again so that maybe, just MAYBE votebans can actually be initiated instead of the entire server of F2P players scratching their ballsacks doing jack shit.

Also, it should be noted that Pochy PM'd Mana about this the day these demos were taken. Not sure if there's been a problem with other people getting their PMs, but I just wanted to make that clear for any other admins reviewing this case.

Also, in case there's any doubt, please consider the following youtube videos:

I realize that some people may not have the same knowledge of just how many different types of hacks there are available for TF2, so I thought this might help. Also, aimbot (amongst other types of hacks such as the "nospread" hack [though I find this name incorrect, as it confuses people with nospread option for servers]) is able to be both toggled and adjusted as seen fit.

Banned.

No proper proof found on STEAM_0:1:10110064 in those recordings. If you do so, please post another ban request.
