Autobalancer In Use Sucks

Whatever autobalance you have needs to be addressed. Today the entire round was played 15v11 even though every few mins a message indicated "balancing in 5secs". It never did and pretty much cleared one side of the sever since nobody is willing to play such bad odds.

The game balances when one of the non donator players dies who was one of the newest players to the team.

if your team was unable to kill those players then balance would not take effect.

The system in place is done so that players who have been on the team longest aren't balanced by somebody wishing to potentially team stack and i'm guessing the reason it's done on death is that otherwise a medic for example ready to charge may be lost or a player in attack or defence would be moved across and leave a hole in the team.

Also, not sure if all servers run this but the server I play on (Ctf 2fort as game mode note) automatically balances the teams after 3 consequtive wins to prevent long term stacking of players.

I don't see this as a flaw in the game. I don't get why people expect TF2 to balance everything constantly. Tough it out until the end of the round, get your scramble, and just move on instead of posting complaints about the server.

Only because people get tired of playing with 4 players down and leave the server...THEN you get your autobalance. Regardless of whether you think people should tough it out or not, it should be fixed so people don't get pissed and leave the server.

True, however, the only way to prevent yourself from being autobalanced is donating.

As for the autobalance itself, if the enemy team doesn't die, then its rather pointless, so besides server, good skill is required. Votescramble could help.

I like autobalance. Especially when some stacker gets team switched and he/she begins to rage about it. It's pathetic.

Sometimes it works for you, other times it doesn't, such as when a scramble occurs and I am the only person who's actually trying to win.
