Playing on KOTH harvest for about 2 hrs.

every 5 minutes or so, or whenevre they needed to, someone would initiate a votekick for a random person on the server.

Most likely they have a macro which can do this very quickly, for purpose of either griefing / trolling, or to gain advantage at a crucial moment (since weapon switch is borked due to the vote).

My session just ended bc they initated a vote for me to be kicked due to 'spam' which is utterly stupid since i entered text chat about maybe 7 times in the 2 hours there, and dont have a mic at all. since it was as soon as round was ending, everyone was switching weaps and hit '1' and so i got banned.

So, idk how long the ban lasts for but please remove it.

I could not screenshot the person who was doing this as i was too busy playing and then got kicked.

You should really, really, really look into changing how votes are initiated or voted on. How about using those "J" or "I" keys to vote instead of 1, 2, or 3. Or even make it 5 or 6. and believe me next time i will look to see who is initiating those votes every 5 minutes, in effect spamming the vote to either troll or abuse the game mechaninc.

I just noticed the sticky about votebans. so no worries about un-ban.

But my request stands as to changing the way votekicks are voted on because people are abusing it and it seems its easily preventable. Thanks

If you have been votebanned, do not post here. We can not and will not do anything about a voteban. You will need to wait until it expires , usually ~45 minutes, and try again.

Also what server was it? Like Chicago or East Coast?

If you know that people are randomly banning, then you need to start recording, in the Bans section, there's a guide on how to record one, and grab some vital information that can help determine who's doing what.

Well, since you are obviously the expert in this area I guess I have no choice but to bow down to your uber leetness. I'd love to pick your brain on the intricacies of bans and the rules sometime since you are clearly much better positioned than I on the subject.

I'm off to petition Mana to instate you as the permanent leader of Lotus, a role far below your worth I know, but still a great starting point.
