He has gotten on my - and everyone elses - nerves for long enough. So let me tell about the problem straight up: Albert Wesker plays heavy class every single game (for the exceptions of demo and pyro etc. sometimes), he plays on lotusclan frequently, but far as I know, only on this server. He is a good player, no doubt, but not a good person. Every time someone dominates him or for example, taunts after killing him, he automatically votekicks/votebans the player; everytime other players go like "wtf wesker ??" I recall him being successfully kicked ONCE. Didn't take longer than 5 minutes for him to come back though. He doesn't use many words, except for "noob", maybe he's just young, or maybe he doesn't know english very well. In anyways, he doesn't explain his actions nor does he take responsibility for them. I like these lotusclan servers very much, and apparently so does wesker, he plays all the time but is a complete nuisance for everyone. The reason I felt like I was fed up with him was that he sometimes plays with his partner - [s.T.A.R.S.]Assassin[sVK] - and this time they both tried to votekick my friend (Maistro-) for stabbing (as spy) albert multiple times making him mad. I don't really have any "demo" of the events (because he doesn't really cheat or anything), but I did copy the chat about the recent kicking: "(S.T.A.R.S.) Albert Wesker (SVK" voted to kick "Maistro-", required votes to initiate a votekick 4, current votes 1." ... [s.T.A.R.S.]Assassin[sVK] : votekick Miqude- : votekick ---> (I was about to votekick albert myself, but I realised that had been done before, and therefore wouldn't do shit. AND I would have had to votekick assassin too, so I took it back.) Maistro- : why kick? "[s.T.A.R.S.]Assassin[sVK]" voted to kick "Maistro-", required votes to initiate a votekick 4, current votes 2." ... Maistro- : hey noobs why kick? :D:D:D Miqude- : I think we should do something about those STARS guys' kickspamming [s.T.A.R.S.]Assassin[sVK] : XD [s.T.A.R.S.]Assassin[sVK] : miquede shut up ... Miqude- : you guys dont respect the server rules nor the server (S.T.A.R.S.) Albert Wesker (SVK : shut up idiot ... Miqude- : I shall go to the forums about this. (S.T.A.R.S.) Albert Wesker (SVK : ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? That's why I want something to be done. +Cactus 4,948 #2 Posted June 1, 2012 It does sound like he may be abusing the Votekick/Voteban function if he is simply kicking people for killing him or taunting him. That said, as you noted, it is difficult for us to take action against someone without a demo or an admin witnessing the incident. His chatlog is here but other than him calling a lot of people noobs, there is nothing useful. If you can get a demo of him abusing Votekick/Voteban, I and/or the other admins would be happy to review it and take the appropriate action. We do appreciate these reports, but I am sure that you can appreciate that we do require a certain amount of proof before banning someone. I'm sure that an admin could wrangle up a temporary ban. Is this player a regular and often times not an asshole? I know many players that act angry for giggles from their peers. I shall record a demo as quick as I catch him violating the rules again. But when he does, he really is an asshole, no exceptions. This is not as you said, "super major", but it still is annoying as all hell. So as a regular player in the servers, I can tell you I really want him banned, but I understand that nothing can be done with no proof. pockets 1,841 #11 Posted June 5, 2012 I would like a little bit more before any action is taken. Since he isn't a donor other players have to also type votekick before a vote initiates. It does seem like he is a whiney douche, but that isn't a bannable offense. Take a demo.
