BoyKumaG 0 #1 Posted March 13, 2008 - okay. so i downloaded some custom maps from this site (this is an extremely useful site btw). now i dont know what to do with them.. they're in .sam format. i dont know this type of file so i need a little bit of help. how do i use these map files in the game? which folder do i put them in? and any other nooby questions. 'cuz i am an actual actual noob. i know this game has been out for quite a long time, but i saw my friend playin it like a month ago and i said.. wow that's new (for me). and he introduced me to the game.. blah blah.. - any help would be greatly appreciated.. thx in advance ^^ Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Speedy 11 #2 Posted March 13, 2008 Welcome to the forum Kumag. The directory you are looking for is, by default, C:\Program Files\Battle Realms\Levels <-- Just drop your .sam files into the levels folder and then start up BR & play. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BoyKumaG 0 #4 Posted March 18, 2008 - ok i tried that... it definitely showed up on the map selection screen thing.. so i clicked it and started the game (match, whatever u wanna call it). so it goes to the loading screen.. it loads a little bit... like 1/4 of the bar.. then it just stops. i get this message that says "Fatal Error". so i know that's bad.. any suggestions? Speedy 11 #6 Posted March 18, 2008 I think that he has WotW already, and used WotW objects in his map and then only saved it as a .sam, not the WotW .brp file type. Resave the map as a .brp and try again Kumag. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
