Does Donators Have Respawn

me and my friend are about to donate your servers.

We just wanted to know if we get also no respawntime when we donate a TF2 server.

No. You get no in-game gameplay advantage for becoming a donator. It wouldn't be fair if you had no respawn time when everyone else did.

Hey Patrick.

Simple answer: no. You have to wait for respawn just like everone else.

The donation perks are meant to be non-game changing. You get some fancy colours and effects, and can trigger votes and so on. But you are still playing like a regular player.

Hopefully that clears things up.

i just have a last question

when i donate your servers, do i agree to some kind of contract or standing order, which makes me pay each and every month?

or is this simply one payment i have to do for this month and after the time its over? (like prepaid)

You can do either. You can recurring or a one time payment, whichever you prefer.

I would have to disagree with the "no in-game gameplay advantage" when you are exempt from being auto-balanced and team scrambled. Especially if you're on a team with a bunch of donators.

But being autobalanced doesn't hinder your gameplay. Player chemistry is a completely different matter I was on a server where our team was getting rolled but I was still able to play how I normally do. Also, being a donator doesn't mean you're a better player.

When they say that you receive no in game performance boosts such as faster firing or extra health, faster spawn times etc...

Being allowed to decide what team you are on can differ the gameplay, but does not affect your performance in game because it is the same as a non-donator.
