Why Isn't Kenji A Playable Character In Skirmish Games?

Hi to all! Even though it is my first post, I've always wanted to ask this. Please notify me if I didn't follow the rules or something..

Well, Kenji is one special hero only available in Kenji's Journey, where you only fight weak AIs not real players, and if you finish his Jouney, he should be the leader of the Dragon / Serpent Clan.. I guess BR's game developers couldn't decide whether he'd be a Dragon or Serpent Zen Master.. or both. But I wanted him on Dragon instead.. Well that's just my opinion.

And for Kenji's costumes.. I'll just choose the last one because its the best one. (The one with black pants and white shirt with dragon emblem... for dragon clan clan, and the shirtless version for serpent.

Kenji is a very balanced hero (well except when he got the orb), and has a cool battlegear that's really fun to use.

And I've always wanted to use Kenji with the power of the orb on (attainable at the last mission Dragon Path). I invented a way to enable that power for kenji, instead of using Dragons Spirit for destroying all of enemy units, it could be used on Kenji.. just right click on him instead of the enemy.. and there you have it. Sacrificing 3 yang and 4 samurais wouldn't be a waste though, since Kenji's attacks and defense would have an enormous boost, as well as his life.

Actually in the last mission (after getting the orb), Kenji's defense is so high that only a horde of hordelings or nightvol could even scratch his life bar and anything else dies from him in 3-4 hits.... well I guess that's too overpowered we could nerf him a little bit..... wow wtf, I think I'm dreaming too much for this to happen.

Back to question then.. why isn't kenji playable in Skirmish? Does anyone know?

He is actually playable from what I heard. When the last peasant comes out the peasant hut the Keep should be built when the last peasant comes out so. Start making the keep when the bar is like 3/4 through, so you finish building the keep when the last peasant comes out. The last peasant that comes out will be Kenji!! This is noly for Dragon and Serpent Clans.

Don't waste your time. That doesn't work kcruza. And If it did work in old versions it certainly doesn't work in version 1.50q.

Also the reason they would have disabled Kenji in skirmish & multiplayer matches would be that Serpent and or Dragon would have the advantage of an extra Hero and a powerful one at that. Of course they could have added another Hero to Wolf and Lotus, but they chose not to.

Yeh, i tried what kcruza95 said one time, few months ago. It didnt work.

And yes, kenji is too powerful to be summoned in skirmish, he is the dragon and would launch just a dragon fire when he wants lol.

Yeah I think those were the reasons why he wasn't playable. Send him with Otomo in battle and he would have unlimited critical strikes, which would kill anything in about 2-4 strikes. Too bad, I'd always want to own with Kenji with Power of the Dragon in any type of game.

Of course Kenji is only avialiable in the campaign but it would be great when dragon and serpent could build him because saturday I had played a match just against AI and I attacked Zymeth and I think he is too powerfull with his damned blizzards. My wolfes had get extremely many damage and some deaths I think. And they got shale armor!

Maybe because you've used wolf units that are weak to magic attacks, Berserkers with shale armor could eat Zymeth anyday. Even though the lightning strikes are like mini critical strikes I'm sure they wouldn't damage much the zerks.

And with Kenji on the Dragon clan (Serpent clan is already strong, and Kenji ending up as a Dragon leader is a better choice for me), I guess he would buff the Dragon clan up, since he would help tremendously in battle and because of most of the time thie clan is being labeled by many as weak even though its not. Sigh.. it's getting too dull and boring just playing with the irritating AI in the Journeys where you just face numerous lotus goons in a big place, build base, attack and kill them and yada yada..

Ahh ok I hadn´t Berserkers so maybe that was my problem! I remember the Lotus warriors don´t like enemys who do slice damage! Thanks!

Anyway I don´t think that Dragon is a weak clan. Dragon is more powerfull then Serpent. Of course thats just my opinion but when I play just against my computer and it lead a Dragon Clan then it is very powerfull. When I choose for my computer Serpent clan then it is not so powerfull and easyer to beat then a Serpent clan. And of course the missions in the Campaign are easy or hard because it depends on which Clan you had choose. For example when you defend the great Geisha house in the 3rd or 4th level and you play Dragon then it is very hard. But when you play Serpent its very easy and boring.

Then play online vs real people that aren't predictable and (moslty) are better than AIs.

Would 384 kbps internet capable of online play? I've played with people online before, but I had allot faster internet that day. Right now I'm fearing that I would have 2-5 second delays and lag that would destroy my online gaming experience.

Well, my advice is to try it. Though there is a big problem with people having slow connections and being kicked because of it. (And because mostly they have a firewall that doesn't allow anyone else to join after they have).

try your internet if slow get a new one then start playing online if u start with bad internet u gonna make lots of people angry

I've tried online play, and you've guessed it. Of all the games that I tried to join, I got kicked out, in ALL of them. After joining and being kicked in about countless times I got frustrated and I pressed Exit, well I guess I need a better internet.
