Reason:

Decided to, for every map of the day I might add... Hide in some random spot on the map as a Cloak and Dagger spy. He basically rarely would move from his hiding spot, or uncloak. After people tried to kick him several times and complain, he would move around the map and be completely useless. Then after 2 or 3 rounds of walking around the map being completely useless and dying... He'd go back to hiding in his one spot.

After we complained some more, and kicked and attempted to kick some more... He would change his tactic to hiding the entire round... Then come out at the last second to pretend he was doing something.

Fast foward a couple of maps to Lumberyard, where he did the same thing again. Only this time, he flat out admitted he was trolling on mic, and that he wanted a ban. I asked him if he really wanted me to post a demo of his behavior on the forums to receive such a ban, and said yes. (And that he was so badass that he would record one himself and post it.)

During one round of Lumberyard... He wasted about 7 minutes of our time hiding. Either the 2 players left thought the game of hide and seek was fun and liked his trolling, or they were just retarded, refused to capture the point during that time.

His behavior then influenced other n00b trolls to hide in corners as well with the Cloak and Dagger.

A lot of people were annoyed, a few thought it was funny enough to vote "No" each time we motioned for a kick or ban.

On the maps where people weren't amused at all period, it was just annoying. Especially on peak hours when I'd get friends messaging me with "I can't get on" and he's taking up a spot.

I know this is a tl;dr of a post... But I thought explaining the full story would be better than you watching about 2 hours of him doing nothing.

tl;dr: Trolling and wasting our fucking time as Cloak and dagger on pretty much every map today.

I don't see playing in this manner as a bannable offense. He played on a pub and had his fun. No exploits and not directly hurting anyone (enemies included...).

His behavior then influenced other n00b trolls to hide in corners as well with the Cloak and Dagger.

Sometimes, I run around as Heavy and use nothing but Holiday Punch, thus inducing 'lulz' and causing others to join in.

I usually don't care when people do this myself. However, he was doing it all day. Every map.

It was the fact that he said he was trolling and wanted to be banned... Plus the 7 minutes of morons not wanting to cap the point while he was hiding.

It would be okay if he was just doing it once and awhile for the lulz... But the amount of times he was doing it and the occasional 7 minutes of waiting to play the game wasn't fun.

It's obvious the other players on the server didn't want him there either, since almost every time he joins there are phrases like "Oh, this guy again" and the constant votekicks / votebans.

Wasting our time when it's multiple instances of the 7 minute demo. Essentially, take the demo I posted above... Play it multiple times, and tell me how productive it is.

This is NOTHING like running around with the Holiday Punch out. At least then you're being productive. (And I do that too, it's hilarious fun to taunt kill people.)

Can't do that while I'm dead. I'm also not going to switch teams every single time this guy plays and play "hide and seek" with him. It would be amusing for a couple maps, sure... But every time I sign on to play? No.

I'm usually not one to complain about this type of behavior... But it's got to the point where every time this guy comes on, he does the same thing. The server regulars are dicks in a half-shell and we don't even think this shit is funny.

I would have labeled this thread "Action Requested" instead of "Ban Request" but the guy specifically said he was doing this to be banned in-game. Why not grant him his wish?

(Also, as Lotus Recruits, you guys should probably know that this type of behavior of this magnitude is against the rules and unproductive. Not sure if you've ever played with some of the Global Admins, but I'm 100% positive most of them kick people off the server for this type of behavior all the time. I can't count the number of times Afronanny has kicked people off Stocks #2 for being "useless engineers" or trolling medics healing SeVeN when he said "Stop healing me."

This is the same type of behavior... And it's even worse on Arena when 90% of the time you're sitting around waiting for the round to end. Much different than a Stocks / 2fort map.)

I posted this because a good chunk of the server was annoyed with this guy and he kept asking for a ban / tried to aggravate people on purpose, and want him gone. A council member can either take action or ignore it. I don't need the Spanish inquisition asking me 200 questions "why I didn't do what in the who now."

Technically, I don't care what people do to have fun on the server. The rest of the server disagrees and I'd like to see the server happy rather than people bitching about this guy every 5 seconds. It's griefing and interrupts the flow of play. Like I said, it shouldn't be my mission to wait for a slot to open on the other team / pay for donor again and switch to the other team to play hide and seek with him as pyro.

My input is that this fellow should be banned for a week or so for griefing. According to what I read- this fellow was being an asshat and ruining people's fun. I would consider this a minor infraction so it shouldn't be dealt with too harshly. This is still reasonable grounds for a ban, in my opinion
