Can an admin do something about this guy. He comes into the server and copies my name while talking crap every time I am on Harvest.

I don't see the issue. I use a zero instead of a letter O. Compare:

Name changing is an inherent function in the Steam UI. Furthermore, I shouldn't be restricted to speak a certain way; I tell stories, not insults. I'd like to see evidence of direct abuse.

In my opinion name copy with the pure intent of annoying someone else is a disruption of the server. There is no loophole here. If you are being an asshat, that isn't acceptable in my mind just because the name was 1 character off.

Since gotcha chimed in, he can decide what if anything should be done about it.

Just cease using his name to troll him. Lotus Clan respects ones identity (example, anyone using our tag without being white-listed gets perm banned).

Edit: I spoke to him on the server since this is a minor offense. I hope he understood and will stop doing so. If not report him again for a possible penalty.

Thanks Gotcha. I don't really mind people trolling me but using a variation of my name confuses other players and myself sometimes.

the name isn't the issue, the reasoning you chose said "non-identical" name, (being an ass-hole) is the reason its a big deal... play the game and have a good time, ruining someone else's experience is just a dick thing to do

When I said direct abuse I meant direct insults to him. My statements are pretty vague and usually aimed at myself. That means indirect. I changed my name back because Gotcha is reasonable. I still don't think I did anything worth a ban. That is laughable.

I certainly never said you should be banned either, just that you were being an asshole, and , errrr, that you should stop being an asshole, hope to see you continue to enjoy the lotus servers
