Suspicious Player - Fat Scout

Recommended Posts

3:00 pm on 24/7 2fort x33

STEAM_0:0:61037464

I do not have a demo of this player, but wondered if any admins who happen to play at the same time as them or any other interested player might watch for their name and see if you feel like making a demo. I believe they have aimbot, they just started on the server in the last couple days and play heavy and sniper. Very accurate, brand new steam ID with no profile and likes to talk shit about his dominations. Those are all anecdotal opinions and of no use, will try to get a decent demo next time they are on.

This may be the wrong forum to use, let me know if it should be somewhere else.

Thanks

haz

Hey,

yes, this is the right forum smile.png Thanks for taking the time to report. Unfortunately we can't act without a demo or similar strong evidence, so if you could, we'd be grateful if you could keep an eye on the guy while you're playing. Also, please add a more specific server than 24/7 2fort - we have a lot of those, and we'll need the server location as well.

I've checked out the player's profile: they are banned on Intox Gaming (http://intoxgamingbans.com/index.php?p=banlist&advSearch=STEAM_0:0:61037464&advType=steamid) but there is no accurate description, so I can't know for sure what the ban was for. It's definitely worth keeping an eye out for.

Thanks for the post, Hazmat. I've played with Fat-Scout before, while he was playing heavy. He was very accurate, but heavies are pretty accurate anyway, and can shoot through walls dry.png I was suspicious of him and his Tomislav, but didn't feel the need to spectate. If someone can get a demo of him doing something, it would be nice biggrin.png Supposedly banned from Intox for exploiting, but yea, no description or information

Pretty fishy why his steam profile isn't even set up yet... huh.png

Doesn't have very many hours.

wow, look at the heavy, scout and spy. Hasn't played much on any other class, but these 3 class stats are odd to me. huh.png

17 hours on heavy, scout, and spy collectively, and 1894 kills and 2580 points. Now I'm by no means a "pro" tf2 player, but those numbers seem really high for that amount of time. Especially since he's played NO other classes for more than an hour and a half.

As a spy, a backstab counts as 2 points I believe, and he has 586 kills and 1042 points?...all in 5 1/2 hours mind you. So almost ALL of his kills were backstabs. blink.png I guess if he went to an idle server it would make sense, but I've definitely played with him before. dry.png

fishy and I don't like it

Whoops, should have put east coast on the end after the x33, Death's home server.

Definitely don't expect any action to be taken without the demo, but hoped that a few more people keeping an eye on them might produce the demo faster as I'm sure I won't overlap with them everytime they are on.

Do you google their steam id to find their bans on other servers? I generally check the skial ban list but have never heard of intox before.

I'll definitely be looking closer into this.

I also went to steam rep and there's no real data presented, must be brand new...or a different IP dry.png

Points mean nothing, seriously. you don't get points like this from aimbotting on a Server. you get so many points for killing stuff on strange lvl servers/Idle servers. it's a really inaccurate way to accuse someone for hacking/cheating. you can definitely tell from the points, that it was on Idle servers, so that drops out smile.png

Besides, i don't think there is something like a "backstab hack" existing that makes you able to backstab so many people. unless it's speed hack, and i think everyone would have noticed a Turboman Spy xD

At no point did I say he was hacking/cheating in my post, just stating that his kills and points seemed really high for the short amount of game time he's played. His profiles being brand new and empty is odd. And he's been banned from another community before, I'm just keeping an eye out is all

I am simply saying that the points don't approve of it, because on Idle Servers, every stats are possible to get. I'll leave this entire thing to the people responsible for it just now.

There actually is an auto-backstab hack and it's in all the main multi-hacks out there today.

Do you really need something like that today? I mean, backstabbing is not a thing of aiming anyway. it's a thing of getting behind people. but oh well, i heard there are some slowpokes that can't backstab because reflexes. OH WELL xD

An idle server would give him points too, as I stated before tongue.png

I also have to add something to my old post: Backstabbing is not only about getting behind people. it's about face/frontstabbing people so you can luckily get backstabs out of no reason ^^

You CAN'T be serious, not you guys, fat scout. I was playing today at around 3pm on my usual server, 24/7 east coast 2fort (x33) while fat scout was on, new name btw, its fat-scout the cockblocker or w/e.

Well guess what, he uses a program that completely overhauls his in-game materials and colors. He says that according to Valve, the software he uses is completely legal. He THEN tells me that he uses a COLOR TRIGGER BOT and a COLOR AIM BOT, which also is supposedly legal, but then I did some research and found this post on a color trigger bot forum.

"This is a misleading statement. It is, in fact, "illegal" and violates the EULA of all Valve-produced games, as does any hack or cheat that gives an unfair advantage."

heres the link to the site http://mpcforum.com/showthread.php?248896-Triggerbot

and here's another site that has to do with hacking http://www.d3scene.com/forum/counter-strike-source-hacks/56729-color-triggerbot.html - A fancy video in here on the program and how it works

I've looked up color trigger bots and color aimbots and they DEFINITELY give an unfair advantage. Watched some youtube videos, read forum posts, etc. I'm guessing by the video on the second link, that with this program, your gun automatically "locks on" and/or shoots when you aim at the set color. what's funnier, is that the video, Day of Defeat, was made on a lotus server, lotusclan.com is in the video. Makes you wonder how many people use this method that play with us sleep.png Definitely watch it to see if it's something bannable, I believe it is...

I have taken some Screenshots, hopefully there is enough here and with further research that we can get a ban on him. If there's nothin here, then so be it, I'm just trying to keep jerks of my server cool.png

NIce call. Perm banned. Our servers run sv_pure 2 which doesn't allow custom mats (where the colors would come in). So whatever he has must be bypassing it, making it a cheat/hack.

As for an aimbot, he must be fucking kidding if he thinks Valve approves of any kind of aimbot. Even if they did, we don't.
