Barbaro 466 #1 Posted February 23, 2013 Okay, a few months ago, S. Shotguns went for little over a refined, now people are demanding Keys for it. What the fuck. Any clues or ideas that Valve will re-package some of the already released/retired crates' contents into new crates? I see they already did it for the Medi Gun and Rocket Launcher, but we've had those for a while now.

Barbaro 466 #4 Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) First Strange Crate was #19...and it had Demoman weapons in it...hmm... http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Mann_Co._Supply_Crate#19 Looking at the lists...I think there might be a pattern. Maybe the next Salvage will have the Krtiz in it again....agh, this is so hard! Edit: First Salvage was #30, second was #40...yet there's no #50... In every crate series, they always bring back some old weapons. In the #54 I have there is still a strange reg sniper rifle, and in the #55, a strange reg medigun. Not sure If the crates will have the exact contents of an earlier crate, but I'm sure at this point at least 1 crate will have a kritz Once the shotgun is re-introduced in the #50+ crates, the price will drop. Right now 1 key for it is actually a good deal

I wonder what the crate #50, if any, will have...if it's a repackage of #30, the Steam Market's gonna crash, check out how much a Salvaged crate goes for, around $600 (Last page, #30)

Not sure anyone will pay that on the marketplace. That seems a bit high since I can get one for around 20 keys, at $2.50 a piece, it's cheaper Edited February 23, 2013 by Climhazzard

The highest bid, will blow your mind. Anyone can list what they want, they're not gonna get it tho Wow, you know that you can list any price you want right? Climhazzard 654 #11 Posted February 25, 2013 (edited) I can't link it but try checking the very last page on the Marketplace, for any random, prized item. The highest bid, will blow your mind. That market thing is all screwed up. The highest posted price for a regular crate is $302.38, and it's a number 31. I hope he doesn't expect to get that, hehe The highest price for salvaged crates is the #40 that's only $262.94. Not only is this really overpriced, but there's no way a salvaged is worth less than a reg crate. I don't use the market for pricing at all, it's so screwed up now If you're looking for some stranges, do as I did for my botkiller scattergun. Dish out the cash, or metal and buy some Mann Up tickets. Do some MvM until you get a botkiller. Not the strange you want? Sell it for it's price in either metal or keys, either way you use it to buy just enough Mann Up tickets to get another botkiller. Rinse and Repeat until you get what you want I did this about 3 times before I got my scattergun, and only paid real money for like 3 tickets since I had some metal saved up Edited February 25, 2013 by Climhazzard
Reisen 1,973 #12 Posted February 25, 2013 (edited) I hope. I really, really, really want a strange kritz. :3 I doubt Valve will ever release these stranges in normal crates. They did a lot of bullshit, like making Shop Hats craftable which made Items like Clean Last Breath worth no shit anymore, or Merc's Pride Scarf. but since these stranges are sold on the market too and they make a lot of profit out of the market as well, they wouldn't simply put them in normal ones. the price would go down and the steam market price as well. By the way, people don't try to sell their crates for 300 dollars, they put them there on purpose, because the item gets removed from the backpack and thus you have more space in your backpack Edited February 25, 2013 by Misa-chan ♥
Barbaro 466 #13 Posted February 25, 2013 Market's pretty dead to me at this point. I might peek in every once in a while, sometimes you'll see Salvaged crates go for around $13.00. I grabbed one being sold at $14.10. *Not the one in my BP mind you, I found that one, I bought another one and gifted it to someone as a Sissmass gift* I doubt Valve will ever release these stranges in normal crates.
