Revote Exploit

Not sure if this was already brought up but it starts to get out of hand. When teams are clearly unbalanced a scramble vote is started. When that happens of course one or two people from the winning team will cast their vote and immediately revote. Their revote is just added to the total of votes at the end and they spam it until it favors it to their side.

I normally play on at Dustbowl server that supports 24 players but by the time the vote ends, there are 30+ votes. I know there is auto scramble after 2 wins but it seems like when the scramble vote comes up and fails, it resets the win counter back to zero or one and just causes a lot of players to leave the server. Happened several times this past week and when a scramble vote didn't go through the server then went from 24 players to 14 players just from people leaving.

Not sure if this is something that can be controlled or if it is causing enough problems for other people. In the end it just ends up killing server activity and forces high player turn around.

regardless, its funny to votekick someone, we all vote no the first time, then revote yes 100 times. Its comedic, long live 24/7 dustbowl.

Pretty sure voting no, and then changing it to yes still makes your vote a yes.

It is? I must have a terrible sense of humour. Anyway, I believe Mike is correct, multiple yes or no votes only count as 1, but !revotes actually DO change your votes from yes to no, or vice versa.

Don't use any of the donator privileges to troll people, that's the way we get a bad reputation for donator abuse.

Huh? It most certaintly does not, it's been working fine where I frag.

If someone's calling a vote mute, it silences them. It doesn't GAG them, which means prevent them from typing in the chat.

I never got this fixed because the actual voting plugin has been updated a lot since then (hybrid voting both in chat and valve's menu style voting). But it's not ready to replace the current one.

I don't have the exact version that the servers run right now. I might have a version close to it, but it would then lack some other bug fixes or have something new implemented.

So because it's only cosmetic It's not a priority.

It's not a donor privilege. Anyone can revote during a vote.
