Banned for abusing votekick/voteban system???

Plenty of people know me since i've played on this server for years, and YOU GUYS asked me to be a part of your group. I don't have votekick/ban doner privileges, whatever I do has to be voted on by more individuals and I always express why I am kicking/banning somebody.

If you guys don't like my reasoning (usually when a team is full of snipers/spies/scouts and is getting killed and certain people refuse to switch class) let me know where that is a rule where I can't do that. I will stop doing it.

it is NOT, this ban was put in place by Average and expires on July 4th.... these accounts are not alts of eachother, 2 entirely different people, similar incidents... MY BAD

that being said, I have played with BOOM for literally years, and am reaching out to Average to try to find out what happened here. For what it's worth I know boom to be an excellent player, and has been a lotus regular for years... occasionally he is.. how I should say.... charmingly abrasive... I'm certainly hopeful we can extend the olive branch and get this taken care of

Before I explain why I banned you, I have to admit that I forgot to give you a warning. That's the first action that should always been taken, and I failed to do so. That's my mistake and I take full responsibility for it.

Now my reasons for banning:

When I started my demo, you had just attempted to start a votekick against "CMDR. Vimes". By looking at the spoiler, you can infer that you did so because you were killed by him. You can see the portion of the chat that isn't included in the video, in the spoiler below. Look at the chat in the video to see someone asking as to why you would kick vimes. You can see in the top-right of the video that I get killed by him.

Next you decided to attempt to votekick "Scenes From A Hat". You can see this in the first image. The next 2 images show that he is indeed playing and does not deserve a kick. You spectate him, I assume to determine whether he is worthy of being on this server and on your team. Seeing as how the votekick didn't go through, you proceed to voteban. Once again, you can look at the spoiler to see what was going on.

I talked to ProLoser about this, and I agreed to bringing the ban down from 5 days to 3 days.

Yesterday the teams were uneven all night long... because guys refuse to switch from sniper/spy/scout. Scenes from a hat refused to switch round after round after round. I explained why I was trying to boot these people the entire time. I make no bones about it. When teams are uneven this is why I do it. I never kick people because they "kill me" as you said.

Votekick/Voteban by one person does absolutely nothing. I am just speaking out. It is exactly what the votekick/ban system is for. If nobody else agrees with me, the kick/ban goes away. Which is what happens a majority of the time. I stand up for myself and for the way the game should be played.

At not one point is this an ABUSE of the system.

Did you ask why I was kicking those people?

Did you warn me?

Did you ask me to stop or be banned?

Sorry guys... but this sets a bad precedent when you have a recruit who can just ban people for days without warning. This is exactly how servers begin to die. Your regulars stop playing, the servers don't fill, everyone just moves on.
