Ultimate 702 #1 Posted July 6, 2013 Okay, I'd like to preface this report with some opinion. I do feel like I need to make this report. I do not feel good about it. This person is a regular on the server, a very entertaining character, and is on my Steam friend list. Generally I'd say only the best of him. However he does have his ups and downs, and they are far more pronounced than most peoples, it seems. This may or may not be due to considerable alcohol consumption. I had to rejoin the server a couple times in the process while switching audio devices. Finally got it recording, and he's still going. The video is 25 minutes. I cut some parts out. Some parts are slightly amusing. I REALLY RECOMMEND YOU WATCH ALL OF IT. He rants a lot, and when there was a votemute against him, he started insulting and cursing people out, then just logged out/in on server to get rid of the mute. Eventually got a ban on him. Ruby 9,039 #3 Posted July 6, 2013 Reviewing and morally doubting every decision I made in life. First, thank you for reporting and taking the time to render and upload the video. I appreciate it. Second... being a server regular or a great person or anything else does not make a person above the rules. It is obvious that his rantings hit the amount of people on the server hard. I do not care whether he is drunk or not. Being under influence does not excuse you of anything and can only make the punishment worse. If you know you're full of shit when drunk, maybe you shouldn't play and hurt the server population, or insult people. If he has issues with drinking, etc., then talk to the guy. While I'm not blaming you for anything, I'd personally have talked to him over Steam while this was in progress. I don't know the relations you have with him, so not mine to judge on that. I've placed a 10 day ban, which is very mild considering the duration and amount of spam that was had, as a warning (Please link him to this post, if it's not an issue). In case there is ever a report of this player again for similar behavior, I will place a permaban. Also, I'd like SteamID of the guy who was stalling the intel at the end, over PM.
