So I played thursday on the server for like 6 hours, had 500 some points, that was the day that whole quick fix ordeal came out?

So... it says I am banned for exploiting....

I reported it to you guys on the forum, and didnt abuse it at all? Justttttt-a-wonderin what I did/possibly was misinterpretted as exploiting?

Im around on steam if its easier to talk to me/faster there?

Your ban reason is "exploiting". Coupled with previous poor behavior, ACG deemed necessary to permanently ban you.

Ok, I was told to post my story here, so I will try to quickly explain what happened at least in my eyes.

Please read it all, sorry I wrote so much. This is just important to me.

I just want to say that, I am not a terrible person. I understand I caused problems and the 2 week ban was deserved, yes... But not being a part of that community and having the oppertunity to join and play with all the people who come there was pretty hard for me. I basically stopped playing tf2 in that period because it was just really upsetting. The day the ban expired I stayed there like 5-7 hours... because I missed everyone and was just playing with the different groups that cycle on. I immedaitely unbound all of my childish binds, and I stopped talking shit or being a jerk.

It feels like to me I have been made out as the black sheep, I was immature, but now everything is being slammed against me to demonstrate that you guys have the power, which you obviously do.... but I value this community enough to constantly watch how Ibehave now, and I was playing like a fun and enjoyable person.

The actual situation -

First I want to make it known that I discovered this glitch thing, I did not find it somewhere and try to get it, I accidentally found it... I was using cow mangler/qf/lots of the revamped weapons, and I happened to already have my strange quick fix for my professional medic set... but post round I acquired an uber, and obviously spammed right click and just got to 100 before the round ended (so I can level my strange)

Next game starts, and I have the "what the fuck???" happen, so I was just confused and in spawn.... at this point, I shift tabbed and posted my findings on this forum, explaining the glitch after I made two of my friends intentionally do what I did, and they both got the boost. So Iknew it was real.

I then messaged like... EVERYONE on steam, like keys and other friends explaining the glitch. I went spec for a bit, traded, eventually came back joined a team and picked scout and bam - it was still there. So for one life, I went out and gotl ike 2-3 kills, killing keys who then walked out of spawn and 2 rocketed me (so I was dead). From this point on, I did not kill another person... I knew it was a glitch and I was still freaking out I found it, so I just wanted to play around with it. I ran as a scout and just jumped around, seeing my dodging skills since I was like... clockwork basically.

As the demo shows computer guy has, I messed around with a mini sentry and just sorta jumped everywhere.... I didnt do anything malicious.

I did NOT ignore computer.... I didnt see him type, I swear to god... I dont know how I missed it? Seeing as his name was white and the ads were also, I believe my mind must have just censored it... I did not ignore him. I spoke to him in voice chat within 5 minute of that and he answered and talked to me, he didnt mention telling me to stop once, while I explained to him what I did what it was and stuff.... I dont understand why he didnt tell me in voice chat, I would have immediately stopped and done what he said. I did not purposely ignore him.

At that point, I finally wanted to actually play again, so ityped in the game chat something like "brb guys, I gotta get this off I want to actually play" and I quit tf2 relaunched rejoined and walla, I was safe again... and went back to just playing.

I did not do this to do anythig wrong, I did not abuse it and make myself mvp every round constantly, I just was excited I found it and wanted to see what it did.... I feel this ban infairly implicates I did things to cheat and win, but that was not my purpose...

I changed how I play to stay a part of this community. I am really upset this is all happening, and I dont want to leave... I want to be able to play with everyone.. I like everyone there. Honestly, I have already decided I am going to leave and just uninstall steam if this cant be reversed or you guys dont believe my side :/ I was serious on my recruit app when I said I only play dustbowl, and it wass only with those people and those friends... I really hope this can be undone... I didnt mean to do anything wrong.. I really didnt...

Voice chat isn't a reliable way to contact someone. I for one play with it normally off. Chat would be the go to thing for that. Mostly because it shows up in console even if you have hud_say..texttime 0

Afronanny - I did not exploit it, I found it and tested to see what it was, I only used it to get 2-3 kills then just played around with it for 5-15 minute jumping as a scout. I did not encourage people to abuse it, I told them how I did it, then had two friends come on, test it and saw the results were repeatable, and then leave.

Mike - yes I guess that is true, I am just upset not further attempt to contact me was made as computer guy and me had a short conversation via voice chat acknowledging I had discovered this and what it was, but at no point did he say stop it or that I will be getting in trouble if I dont, so him talking to me within 5 minutes of this then just giving me 2 short messages in main chat that I missed just seems unfair to me, and I didnt ignore him

I've reviewed the situation and there will not be an unban, for the following reason:

You did not stop after an admin specifically asked you to do so TWICE (we have a demo of this). If you had, then there would be no ban.

I'd also be more likely to be lenient if this was a first time occurrence, but it's not. It's at least the third time I've had to deal with a ban attached to your name. Your actions show a clear disrespect/apathy towards the servers, the player community, and the server admins.

I did not purposely ignore him.... I didnt. I did not see it, I watched the demo, I just didnt see it! I dont know if it was because the white faint lettering the spec chat uses but I didnt see it.... I spoke to him in voice chat and he talked to me within 5 minutes of this! We had just talked... I would have stopped if he said something, I just missed what he said! I didnt see it... gah I swear :/

Also, this is only the 2nd thing... there was the two week ban thats it, and that was totally deserved I admitted it yes. I stopped acting like that, I changed and corrected my behavior so I could stay, I got rid of binds and have been totally good..... I am not disrespecting the servers, or the community, or the admins. I do not want this to happen, I feel like just because you guys dont like me I am not being given a fair chance, this was a total accident and misunderstanding, and I am about to never be allowed to play again because of a stupid fucking quick fix glitch I accidentally stumbled on...... I swear to god I didnt see computer guy type... I talked to him!! In the chatttttt gahhhh I dont know what to do I dont want this to happen I didnt abuse this to help me I just discovered it... please...
