Request For Unban

Hello, I was trying to get on to play with a couple of friends on 2Fort and I found that I was banned for reason:unknown

I would like to know the reason or if I was banned Temporarily, or at the very least know what happened.

Last game I played, I had been disconnecting frequently and I had typed something along the lines of: ALKJDSF;KAHSDGKJHSD( Keyboard smash ) LAG

I hope that I can rejoin the Lotus Clan Servers as I enjoy the atmosphere of the community and it is one of the few I like to play on.

You were banned for speed hacking (which caused the server to very noticeably freeze).

Could it perhaps be due to my Lag? I don't hack games, if you're willing to believe me and this is my first offense, all I remember is Lagging a whole lot and I didn't mean to crash the Server, I have Two friends who would be willing to Vouch for me if it's needed. I hope this Ban can be reversed.

Again, I apologize for freezing the Server, but if I had to point the blame ANYWHERE, it would be the condition of my latency. Again, sorry and hope I can rejoin the Community.

I got the same SMAC messages one time for a guy that was "teleporting" because of a 800 ping or whatsoever.

Dunno if that's worth anything towards this.

This incident has all the trappings of a speedhack. I've never heard of a high ping from one individual slowing down a server, that's just not how the internet works. And it's definitely normal for a speedhack to slow down everyone and eventually crash the server.

That combined with SMAC going off, and some other items after my back-end analysis has led me to the decision to not unban. I see you've only been playing on our servers a few days so hopefully you can move onto someone else without issue.
