mikica 4 #1 Posted September 25, 2013 Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:17649928 So, hello everyone, no one knows me here, this is my first post. In fact I just registered to bitch about Anyway, tonight I was playing some TF2 on 24/7 2Fort server. I was in the enemy intel-room, waiting for my team to deliver intel, and get it again. After some time I realised that the player carrying the intel did not want to turn it in (it was taken for some time already). I asked a couple of time what was going on, and no one was answering. I was there for maybe 1-2 minutes and no one turned it in. When I was killed, eventually it was turned in. The player carrying it was named goo5e. After that I looked at how he was behaving and noticed that he was behaving kind of awkward, aiming at the wall, and not really being that good. A few times I asked to talk to him in chat, but he did not answer. Finally, I called the admin, he came over and I asked him if he could check whether or not goo5e was a bot. Admin just said "sigh" and banned me like a little bitch. Now, I have no bloody idea, whether or not it is possible for someone to use a bot to play the game. Why wouldn't it be as far as I am concerned? I was aware that there was a possibility to be permabanned for the abuse of calladmin function, but I think that permabanning someone on just a simple mistake is a bit harsh. I play TF2 only on 24/7 2Fort, and I would like to hear the reasons for the band. Cheers
Computer 588 #2 Posted September 25, 2013 Looks like Darwin was the one who banned you. Reason: calladmin abuse Expires: Sep 26, 2013, 5:51 PM You'll have to wait for his input.

Firstly: No public servers are allowed to hide bots. This means that it is possible to locate any bots by holding TAB and looking for the word "BOT" where the player ping normally would be. Secondly: The !calladmin button isn't for general questions, so using to ask about a player could be seen as abuse. (I'm not saying what you used it for is or is not. Just a heads up for the future) The button is more designed to alert admins to active, ban worthy behavior like aimbots or players being disruptive. Thirdly: Lotus admins cannot control the actions of our players on our servers. Even if someone is playing poorly. (I know how you feel. I understand a bit of fooling around with the intel, but cap it at some point) Lastly: I know you're frustrated, but calling the admin "A little bitch" is very inappropriate behavior. If you could refrain from doing so in the future I think everything will move along more smoothly. Sorry I can't be of more help. Darwin was the admin in charge of this ban so he will have to weigh in. I hope I helped explain some things to you. Good luck!

You heard of it, "slap someone like a bitch" or something similar. Yeah, I was pissed, no question about it, but there would be no point in being a douche. thanks for the heads up though, didn't even occur to me it could be interpreted that way

Ruby 9,039 #7 Posted September 26, 2013 (edited) Hey, woops. You must have said that in death chat, which I don't see unless I'm dead as well, and I was pretty winded up from other four fake calladmins that night. Please accept my sincere apologies, you have every right to be pissed at me - I am unbanning you this second even though it's only a 1 day ban. Sorry for the confusion. I hope it won't happen again. In the future, please, if you have something to say, say it while you are alive Unbanned! Sorry again!
