As some of you know from the recruit lounge I unboxed this today at random. While I enjoy Heavy items it will be much more useful to me if I sell it. Let me be clear, if you don't like my offer in anyway, just please kindly move on. it serves no purpose for people to fill the thread with responses of how much with they don't agree with my pricing.

Per backpack.tf, the trading site that so many people here trust, there are only 2 other known versions of this item with the Cloud 9 effect. Making the item even more rare. This item with less rare effects sells for as much as 7 buds, but with this particular one being so rare there are no previous prices listed.


I am asking for a firm 3.5 Buds, pure. So 3 pure Buds plus either 8 Keys or 55 Ref. I will also accept $100 via Google Wallet as the form of payment. $100 cash is cheaper then the value of the items I am asking, so you get a deal if you pay cash. Google Wallet is Google's version of Paypal but MUCH easier and free to use.

If you use Google in any way, like gmail, you already have a Google Wallet account. You just need to tie it to a Bank Account, Debit Card or Credit Card and then add the funds to your Wallet. Sending money works the same way Paypal does. Prepaid Debit Cards that you pick up at the store do work with Google Wallet in order to add funds.

I unlocked the crate with a Key from the Mann Co Store, so I can't trade the item until 12/22. So you have until then to make your offer. Simply reply to the post, but again, please refrain from replying if all you want to do is tell me I'm wrong or complain in some way.

Correction, there are no fees of any kind with Google Wallet. It is always free to add funds via your bank account but they are also currently waiving the fee if you add funds via your debit or credit card.

As much as the effect is good, i doubt there's anyone out there willing to pay so much for such a bad hat.

Hey, some people have paid even more for this exact same hat but with more common effects on it. There are more then 1 of these that have sold for 7 buds. As far as cash sales, there is even a recorded sale on the STEAM Community site for one of these hats selling for $125 back on November 30th. Because the effect this item is rare, I am sure as hell going to start high on my asking price.

Maybe a better way to do this is to ask 4-5 buds on it, once that is sold, sell the buds individually. There is more of a market of people trying to buy buds for $40 than buying one hat for $200.

Well, if my Strange Australium Medi Gun sells for cash I may be able to change it up on selling this.

After doing extensive research I have reset my asking price on this item, but the price is firm.
