Hey, so apparently awhile ago I was banned for "calling admins faggots." I don't even remember this and I was probably drunk to be honest. I don't drink anymore because, as evidenced by episodes such as this, I become kind of an asshole when I do. I also don't care enough about the game at this point to argue with an admin or whatever I was doing. I'm a nice guy who has his bad moments, however they've subsided for the most part over time. I ran a server for awhile that was based around friendliness so it's funny/sad that I turn out to be a hypocrite on occasion. But yeah, I'd like to be unbanned, I'm pretty much done with that type of behavior.

I didn't see any for hacks, just for mic spam, "being an ass hat," and one for "inapporpriate spray."  The one page about hacks that had his steamID on it was just a tutorial with a paste from a console status on a server he happened to be in.

 

I should also point out that some of those are EIGHT YEARS OLD, and most of what turns up in searches is at least 3 years old.  If he was like most noisy obnoxious teenagers then, it's possible he's grown out of that by now.

 

I'd still be curious to see if the banning admin can shed more light on this though.

Thanks dude, I honestly always forget that I'm banned from a lot of servers just because they're either so long ago, or because I've been to so many servers and have played this game so much/long that I can't keep track of them all. If you look at my hours for TF2 you'll understand. And also because I just unfavorite them and forget. I played a ton of TFC too. I was going to point out and sum up my reasoning for basically all of what you described exactly the same way but I figured it wasn't worth it when I googled and found all that crap. Meaning I figured there was no way anyone would even entertain the idea that I'm not a total asshole, haha.

 

The micspam I mainly got my jollies out of my system by now. I realized I'm banned from a decent amount of the server networks during the first half of TF2's lifespan at this point so I tried to chill with it. What I do want to note is that when I did it it was for people to enjoy. It wasn't obnoxious BS, it was low-volume songs that fit an action-packed FPS. Though I realize the vast majority of servers still do not tolerate that, which is fine. I've gotten bans lifted from other servers in which the ban was for micspam and I promise you I've never done it on those servers again. I basically only keep it to servers that allow it like Aliento's Micspam Kingdom & the spiritual successor to my old server. If you decide to lift my ban and hear it again from me feel free to perma-ban me because it basically won't be happening.

 

The inappropriate spray, no those weren't drunken escapades, you hit the nail on the head with immature.

 

I can't really prove that I'm not an asshole, the most I can do is tell you that people aren't one-dimensional, I'm the best example of it. Look at my Spirit of Giving in my inventory, I think it has something like 3269 gifts given. I was #5 at one time for most given. I've also ran a server that any regular could tell you was one of the most positive and least hostile environments as far as servers go because I strictly enforced people not being dickheads. I can't really say much else. I have no idea what the hack thing you're talking about is. I have a $1400 backpack according to backpack.tf, primeval warrior, and again if you check my hours you'll see that I thoroughly enjoy playing this game so I'm not going to risk getting my account banned. Or VAC banned or whatever. Not trying to brag just saying.

 

So yeah, not much else to say other than I'm not really an ass and especially not when people give me second chances.
