fever 9,884 #3 Posted January 5, 2015 I've found 1&1 to be very good and I use them for any of my clients web hosting requirements. I think over around twenty seperate contracts I have had maybe 5 instances of downtime (worst case 30 minutes) during the last 7 years. I have no specific Service Level Agreement with them other than their generic agreement which is available in contracts to any member of the public. I would imagine that you can get a specific SLA set up with them if required....but the costs would probably ramp up for that kind of service. Their tech support is sufficient, it's always got any issues or questions sorted quite quickly although their tech support is US based (free phone number) so sometimes the accents are confusing...on both sides xD Their control panel is fairly extensive and has been perfectly adequate for what I need. If you want a quick "look see" some time then I can send you some screenies of what you get in the control panel if you're seriously considering them.
