Have you ever thought of also carrying a bottle? I mean, if you're in lane with me you don't have to give up any of your farm (aside from when I pull), plus you (hopefully) sometimes get stacked ancients/camps. Maybe we should try it? A battlefury would give extra health and mana regen (same health regen as a vanguard), plus would make the helix even more devastating, i guess... we'd have to try. Huge part of the item (the cleave) is wasted and the mana regen isn't that good. Get a shivas for similarish price if you really want the mana.
