bestdayever 1 #1 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) Everyone was having a good time on your upward server this afternoon. Everyone was spamming binds like crazy, for the record. I killed an admin named [snip - remembered the wrong name] with the reserve shooter and the following happens: "Oh he's using the reserve shooter" /stupid lenny bind /stupid lenny bind "Bad" -Admin silences dubwise- at this point I can't even communicate with my team on my mic so I reconnect and he silences me again... I was not 'spamming' any more than the rest of the people on the server, but it seems he was just too upset to deal with it like an adult. Honestly, I'd be more understanding if I was somehow being toxic but the overall vibe on the server was great and he was the only one who seemed upset so I personally think this is a clear cut case of admin abuse. He's choosing to enforce a rule strictly with one person because of a play that got made on the server. I understand I'm a very good pyro and dying/losing can be upsetting but using the admin menu to work out your frustrations is inappropriate. I have played this game since launch and have frequented your servers for years and have never seen anything close to this. Thanks for your consideration. If this is considered normal admin activity I'll be sure to blacklist all your servers and tell all my veteran friends to do the same. --- 691 #2 Posted April 10, 2015 The silencing admin was myself. "Mr. Master" is either not an admin or one that I do not recognize. Your skill or playstyle had nothing to do with it. The overall "vibe" of the server was one in which the normal chat was being overrun by you and perhaps 2 other players spamming binds. +Skaila 5,462 #6 Posted April 10, 2015 Just going to butt in here for a second. Do you have a demo of the events that happened by any chance? Or print screens where he abuses you? Don't get me wrong Arakvar admitted he silenced you for spamming the chat and didn't silence the others (if I read this correctly). Or at least didn't say if he silenced the others anyway.
