*RESOLVED* - Ban Request - Chiken

I joined at 6:00 PM PDT and Chiken and someone else where doing Attacking-Team Invso-Spy/Defeding-Team Engi-Senty at attacking spawn. I disconnected and played somewhere else. At 6:40 PM I rejoined and Chiken was playing. His music was playing constantly in voice chat and game chat was continually trying to kick him.

 

I would actually ask for a perma-ban for griefing.

I'm starting to think we should just shoot first with any and all lazy purple fans.  In any case, I attempted to add him on steam to get his side, but he blocked me as well as my alts when I sent the request.

 

If you have a demo of the incident, please link to it for us.  If you don't, then for future reference, I'd recommend recording a demo.  To do so, open up the console by pressing the ~ key, type "record filename" (no quotes, whatever filename you want), and type "stop" (no quotes) to stop recording.  While it's recording, type "status" in the console, so that when we play the demo, we can be certain that the player in the demo is the same player as the reported steamID.

 

As far as taking action, a permaban would be excessive for a first offense, and any ban at all would be questionable without solid proof that 1) he did something harmful to our servers, 2) he was warned to stop, and 3) he continued to do the harmful behavior after being told to stop.  If we don't receive sufficient evidence, then I'm afraid the best we can do for now is make a note on his player record, reach out to inform him that such behavior won't be tolerated, and keep an eye on him until he does it again.

I checked his chat log, thats hardly spam.  I added him and he accepted but I just missed him, I'll talk to him later and see if he admits to anything.

Seeing he did acknowledge the griefing, I went ahead and placed the ban for 5 days.
