Johnny Karate 3 #1 Posted August 10, 2015 Hello! I was banned from a pl_borneo server a few minutes ago (under the same name) for "abusing !calladmin". I tried to call the admin because there were 3 of my teammates that were just dancing in spawn rather than playing the objective and I was hoping they might be kicked to free up space for some actual players. My friends and I play on LotusClan servers frequently and I was hoping I might be unbanned. I'm not sure what I did wrong when using the !calladmin feature, but I'd be happy to change my behaviour to use it properly. Thank you! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I had a bright pink name and you died at least once in the meantime, which means you were not in some serious action or so. Thats pretty much the reason for the ban. What you did wrong you ask? You probably just didnt read the chat. That can happen, so you have been unbanned (even though it was just a day). For your future reference: Taunting is part of the game. When you use !calladmin, we usually message you over psay or normal chat. If you call for an admin, pay attention to chat for a bit or it may seem like you're ignoring us to the admin. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In general, yeah, we won't see a need for admin action just for taunting. However, taunting for extended periods of time is basically just idling and evading the afk kicker. When several players do it for a long time, it can become a disruption that causes a significant drop in population because other players don't have real teammates. If it's really that excessive, you may still feel free to votekick the idlers or call for admin.
