cptheslayer 2 #1 Posted June 2, 2006 There are many games I have played. Some are losses and some are victories. With each loss and victory, i learn something: learn to be better. Some will say I lose because I had a bad day. Some might say I win because of my skills. Some might lie to make themselves feel less ashamed of themselves for losing. The only thing i am still curious is that i lose badly because of cheats or because of I am too slow. That is why now I don't really like to play 1v1 with someone I don't trust. I mostly lose in 1v1 without knowing why. However, I win more than lose in 2v2 or 3v3. Here is the last game that I remember. i, cptheslayer, teamed up with Baxter playing against Fresco and Viper or Kie. I was serpent and Baxter was dragon. Fresco and Kie were Wolf and Serpent. We didn't play random; each player had to choose a known clan to avoid random cheat. VOD was the map. The setting was all high except army was small. It was of course survival. When game started, Baxter ran his 2 peas to my base and build a hut near water and rice while i had already begun bulding my hut. Then i build musk and then tower. After the tower was built, I place a hut infront of the tower while I train my musks. Then I was about to build my tavern or the other building, a musk and a few raiders came. i had my peas readied to water the tower. After chasing the raiders a bit back, an enormous force consisted of both serpent and wolf came to brutally vandalize my buildings and killing my units. Hower, they both failed because Baxter's army and my army with a tower and some peas to attack. Then they retreated. Baxter got some horses and towers up. We all were building and upgrading what we could and got keeps. Baxter got Monument up. Then ST team went up the hill and started to build towers there. Baxter occasionally ID those towers, but the towers kept being built after destroyed. I got some snipers and muggers and necro. Baxter of course got his Arah. I had a lot of snipers first because my opponents had lots of ballistamen and canons. Snipers at this point helped defend my base strongly. We were attacked a few times during all this time. But we only lost a hut or a tower a few units. Then rebuild towers annd wells. i told Baxter to use the Zen arrow to see what kind of army our opponents had. I saw lots of berserkers and canons, then I trained most of my snipers to canons/smoke. Then more atacks erupted and caused both sides some casualties. More werewolves and ballistamen were trained and snipers and canons. Baxter stayed with his archers and sams and I trained most of my canons to be ronnins. I had a mixture of muggers, healers, snipers, smoke. By this time, Baxter secretly attempted to get 3 spirits. While he sent 2 sams to attack the uphill, i sent a few muggers to mug those eyeing on my town. Baxter never needed to use his spirit to defend our town. When he had about 7 yangs, his arha died. So i told him to get arah back and forget about the 3 spirits. He resurrected Arah. More attacks caused more deaths and injuries to both sides. The game had gone for more than an hour now. Then Baxter and I decided to let me go attack while he stayed and defend. But I had to run to the other side and our opponents would see me running. After getting all my heroes, i summoned a ninja to scout and saw that our opponents had 2 bases. So, attack one base with most of my forces is stupidity. Even I succeeded, my town would be crashed. So I only sent my snipers to attack. But those damned berserkers slaughtered them. Then later, a big attack came; we were attacking directly diagnally across the two bases. I was able to take down their tower and baxter used a spirit to aide me. But Those ballistamen on the hill started to kill my men fast so we retreated and defended. Then the game went on a little longer and we all just decided it to be a draw becaues whoever attacked would have disadvantage due to towers.

cptheslayer 2 #4 Posted June 3, 2006 if it was not for those towers on the hills, Baxter could just id and force u and kie to move back or decide to attack.
Speedy 11 #5 Posted June 3, 2006 Those ballistmen in the towers with the EagleEye upgrade, have almost the same range as ID !! :pinch:

cptheslayer 2 #7 Posted June 3, 2006 so u knew. That was y Baxter didn't need many units to defend, He only got some archers and towers and with my snipers, ur forces could not penetrate; and i u used all forces, man how would the game end? Probably, we would win. If u just ran in all ur forces then mines and spirits would do most of the work and then towers would do the next while lastly our forces would bring forth deaths to your units. And besides it was our base, so we lost towers and most units, we could produce quickly more units to kill the rest of your forces. Remember we got keeps, so we could just summon hereos. Even Zymeth cannot survive 3 spirits, how can canons and berserkers survive 3 spirits?

cptheslayer 2 #9 Posted June 3, 2006 y is it interesting to u? I like about that game is that I changed my type of army 2 or 3 times to counter my opponents. We all did not stick with one strat and one same army.
