you turn your head with those monitors its not gonna do anything.You turn your head with the goggles and its like turning in the game too,guess you could tape those monitors to your face and get kinda the same effect.

The borders on those monitor setups make it look like shit to me , you got these spaces where there is nothing but plastic when it should be a full picture.

That is an awful lot of money. Seems like a nice idea, but the implementation seems a bit easy to mess up.

EDIT: Most games do not support more than one monitor, and you'd need a hell of a grahics card for more than 2 or so.

I have 3 monitors in my house that could use on my main rig but I only use one when gaming due to the borders. I only use 2 when working on something.

Woah... I just imagined those Emagin Visors plus the Emotiv Headset... HOLY SHIT AWESOMENESS (If you don't know what the Emotiv Headset is, just Google it). Only thing is that now... you just sit there doing nothing... oh yeah, you wave your head around too XD

What would be better is a completely immersive experience... where you actually move your fingers to pull the trigger... run to run ingame... wow... just wow That would be my kind of dream set-up

Would also make it more challenging , like what the mad katz steering wheel did for racing console games,wasnt as easy as with a controller but made it much more realistic especially with force feedback etc.

A few problems as I see it...

1) how do you turn around 360?

2) My eyes start to hurt looking at a regular monitor for a while...and my eyes aren't inches away from it.

3) My wife tries to talk to me and stuff every once in a while when I play...just one more step removed from reality.
