Earlier in the day I said valve wasnt making any new things for tf2 until at least next year.

Valve proved me wrong real fast.

Dispenser and tele upgrades, spy regains cloak with picked up metal, medic will now get more info about ppl calling for them, and critical deaths showing up on HUD.

Now sure how i feel about engy and spy upgrades, but the rest sounds fine.

Valve are doing it by playtime and scout is severely underplayed. As was the Medic and the Pyro and even to a point, the heavy.

I like how everyone is getting horrible FPS. Everyone on the servers that responded that is. No one said their performance was better with these "LFD Optimizations".

Probably. It's just too much. I think everything was great aside from that but we really don't need to see when everyone is healed.

Actually, it definitely boosted my FPS. Of course, that's prob just because I have a quad core, so the optimizations really helped me out.

I have a quad. And no TF2 does not use more than 1 core efficiently. Core 0 = 100% rest = 5%.

I have quad and akso no better.

On another note, they added that overhealed players have lots of little cross particles floating in their team color around them. Yet they did not realize that it does this to spies even when disguised. So spies who have been having a hard time with paranoid teams as is now have another method of detection to worry about: getting healed.

Oh,a nd if the spy is disguised, he'll still give off his true team's color in plus signs.
