It recommends artists to you based on what other people who like the stuff you listen to, listen to.

I use Pandora Radio cause I can use it on my iPhone but I'm pretty sure there's a last.fm app as well, I might have to check it out. Pandora is just so good, it's just that stations can get a bit repetitive.

Aye, that's why I don't use pandora much. Though it takes a little while to scrobble enough songs/artists for a decent radio station..it's worth it.

You missed question 2, good sir. I don't use iTunes much anymore because I have amazing headphones and a lot of FLAC music.

I use Cog. It's a very new FLAC player for OS X... I doubt it has much in the way of plug-ins. I think it's still in the beta phase, tbh.

Broon's Bane is not an accurate representation of Rush's music... just showing off Lifeson's skillz.
