FunkyFresh 68 #1 Posted April 18, 2009 Every track you play will tell your Last.fm profile something about what you like. It can connect you to other people who like what you like - and recommend songs from their music collections and yours too. Post 'em if you've got 'em. http://www.last.fm/user/MixMastaMike21 I've found easily over 50-60 artists via last.fm :x
boywonder03 2 #2 Posted April 18, 2009 There is a pretty cool music site like Pandora or something. It recommends artists to you based on what other people who like the stuff you listen to, listen to.
Miyari 33 #3 Posted April 18, 2009 I use Pandora Radio cause I can use it on my iPhone but I'm pretty sure there's a last.fm app as well, I might have to check it out. Pandora is just so good, it's just that stations can get a bit repetitive. Also, Air, Radiohead and Muse = <3 I'm pretty sure I'm linking these right; this is the station I've been listening to most recently, when I work/play or as I'm falling asleep: http://www.pandora.com/?sc=sh88057309367967572
FunkyFresh 68 #4 Posted April 18, 2009 Aye, that's why I don't use pandora much. Though it takes a little while to scrobble enough songs/artists for a decent radio station..it's worth it. http://www.last.fm/group/Last.fm+for+iPhone+and+iPod+Touch

+Henry Spencer 117 #8 Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) 1. Will it work on Mac?2. Will it work with non-conventional music players (ie not iTunes or Winamp) You missed question 2, good sir. I don't use iTunes much anymore because I have amazing headphones and a lot of FLAC music. FunkyFresh 68 #9 Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) most players have plugins what player are you using? I'll find out edit; broon's bane is illl Edited April 18, 2009 by FunkyFresh
+Henry Spencer 117 #10 Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) I use Cog. It's a very new FLAC player for OS X... I doubt it has much in the way of plug-ins. I think it's still in the beta phase, tbh. Broon's Bane is not an accurate representation of Rush's music... just showing off Lifeson's skillz. Your musical compatibility with MixMastaMike21 is Very Low Edited April 18, 2009 by Henry Spencer
LunchBox 10 #11 Posted April 18, 2009 I use Pandora for the same reason as Miyari, iPhone. Also, Depeche Mode & Muse (:
