Did Valve make it possible to be disabled?

I believe there is a server side variable that disables them. Don't ask me what it is, though. I have about as much server experience as I do reflected arrow kills, that is to say, none.

Don't be. You don't run the server, so you can't control it. Also, you also blew me up about a bajillion times nowhere NEAR spawn, without any crit bonus, so really, all you were doing was saving time.

I need to get better at demo. I don't use the sticky launcher NEARLY effectively enough. I need to get better at lots of classes, actually (fun story, my skill dropped 80 points today and my rank went UP), but demo is such a strong class that it's really something I should know. Especially because the good demos always seem to be on the other team, and the bad demos always seem to be on mine. Or worse, me.

I've been gone since last Thursday. Back now, just finished downloading the update.

Looks like there's been a lot of hectic changes, I liked most of it though.

I hate most of the changes personally. For example, unless you just get plain lucky, you literally cannot sap a tele anymore.

Hell, even if you kill and then sap, they might actually respawn, or another engy respawn, before it finishes sapping. Couple whacks, and it's operational again. And as a spy, you definitely don't want to stick around most of the time...

I was talking about most everything but the spy updates and a few other things.

That my friend is what you use your revolver for. You sap and shoot it to death.

Ah, but now you can repair the entrance by whacking the exit and vice-versa.

Also, regarding the crit boost upon capping intel, it seems like they will take it down to 5 seconds or something like that, because ten seconds is too long, but 5 seconds wouldn't be so bad, or if they made it into minicrits instead of crits.

Better yet, they could just make the opposing team lose their ability to use weapons and run around flailing like idiots for 10 seconds! Oh, wait...

I normally take the tele entrance, and do the whole stab & sap tactic.

They don't respawn as fast as you seem to think on Lotus servers. Sucks for the spies who like to play on insta respawn servers though. I haven't had trouble yet getting rid of teleporters, you just gotta play the cards right.

They frequently do respawn within a few seconds, actually. And it's not just that particular engy spawning that you have to worry about-- usually there's three or more engies on a defense team, oftentimes up to five, at which point a spy is basicly useless against the engies unless they're really spread out.

Like I said, haven't had any trouble myself.
