Lookutis 0 #1 Posted August 16, 2009 Today, I was banned on one of your servers called "Lotusclan.com |24/7 Gold Rush #1| East Coast." I got banned, because I voted a person who was being racist. Then I accidentally voted the wrong person but he/she didn't get banned, but that has nothing to do with this. Then, the person who was racist noticed I tried to vote ban me ( I have his steam ID if needed). Then, his little friend also joined in and did a vote against me. So there was 1 more vote left. Then a vote on left side on the screen popped up which said "Ban Lukas? 1 Yes 2 No" then the racist guy said "BAN HIM! He's a racist and a cheater!" which really annoyed me. I didn't think anyone was going to vote. Then, I saw EVERY SINGLE person voting yes, it flooded the chat, and there wasn't a person who voted no. This really got me confused. Well, then boom! I'm banned. What will I do to not get banned again: NEVER vote ban any person again on any server.
ScarletRose 1 #2 Posted August 16, 2009 Votebans are only temporary. Should have been lifted 30 minutes later. Don't sweat it.

ScarletRose 1 #4 Posted August 16, 2009 But I will get voted ban again if I join. Somehow I doubt the exact same amount of people will be there even now, and even then Lotus has like 7-- (My bad HENRY. ) 18. different servers for you to play on. If it's a voteban initiated by a donator and he/she is doing it consistently with no reason, next time take a demo of it when you join. Get the Steam ID and Name then petition for a ban of the user due to abusing donator powers on the Ban Request forum. Beyond that I don't think they can 'prevent' it from happening. And again the bans only last for at least 30 minutes, it's nothing permanent. Unless you were actually doing something you weren't supposed to, most of the people would have moved on and forgotten about the incident by now. Unless they have no life and live for this sort of thing-- but that's a whole 'nother case.
+Henry Spencer 117 #5 Posted August 17, 2009 7 servers? Try 18. Unless those guys are regulars on the server, you don't have much to worry about. If they give you more problems, take a demo of it, get their Steam IDs, and make a ban request for donator abuse.
