Enkidu98 1 #1 Posted August 16, 2009 I was playing today at @ 5:15pm MST and was banned by a vote. The reson folks voted a ban against me was I thought D3r3k_Ng was cheating and said so. I believe this was the case as not too long before I was killed by him while I was downstairs near his teams intel (in the corridor near the medpac/ammo box and I had with me a medic from my team. I was getting shot, though no one was on my screen. Medic died as well. I thought it was weird so I went into specatator mode and watched D3r3k_Ng and he was invisible on my screen. Some folks said I had alt+tabbed and thats what caused the problem. I'm not sure if that was the case but thats really no reason to call for a permament banning. I hadn't even made a big deal out of it and I only responded when Sadowski asked what class D3r3k was because he had just gotten killed as well. I said his class was a 'filthy cheat' and then shortly after they called a voteban on me. Which is crazy, but owell. I've been playing on your server for a few weeks now and have not caused trouble. So this was unexpected. I would like to be re-instated please. Thanks. +Henry Spencer 117 #2 Posted August 17, 2009 Just for the record, this is a bit of a bug/glitch. I've had it happen a couple times since the update. To fix it, go into the console and type "record fix". Then type "stop". That should get rid of it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
