They are rare (I only heard 1 during my 4 hours of gametime in Stocks #2), and they take the place of the regular announcer voice. Once we get the updates, when a soldier kills a demo or a demo kills a soldier, you'll get the appropriate friendship announcement. Actually I was just playing, and one of our guys was saying that he was hearing the announcer saying all the friendship lines. He was a soldier and the other guy was a demo! I think you've nailed it!
