seppuku 0 #76 Posted January 25, 2010 hmm my personal favorites for towers are as follows, Dragon: Upgraded archers/ Upgraded Kegs/ healers/ Arah if the need were great enough Serpent: Cannoneers with cannon sights if facing warlocks/Musketeers if facing explosion weak units(dunno if powder kegs would count as explosive weak because i noticed that 2-3 muskets can take out kegs quickly when upgraded with vital points and are not using sniper scope)/crossbowmen/healers Lotus:Leafs early on/unclean/warlocks/Master Warlocks/Zymeth after using heavy rain/occasionally Yvaine if im overconfident or being a little arrogant Wolf:Hurlers early on/Ballistamen fully upgraded/Druidesses with Mother Earth upgrade/Longtooth incase someone attacks from afar that other ranged units cant hit from(ID kegs+Zen arrows)/fully upgraded Pitch Slingers for explosion weak units or if i want to make sure my enemy gets scared away(rarely works tho) I would only use samurai if i needed to get some yang for keep or dragon monument or need samurai to power said monument, and i would only put samurai in tower as a last desperate attempt to turn the tide of an already lost fight hmm i have had archers fight warlocks and if the archers get fully upgraded then one may stand a reasonable chance against a lone warlock but dont get ur hopes up due to the fact that the enemy may get a group of warlocks with SC and not even 40 archers could withstand a blast of SC from 25-30 SC with 3-5 DC staffs, and archers will die even quicker from Master Warlocks with Soul Thresher, in fact most Dragon units tend to die before they can reach my Soul Thresher Master Warlocks. @ baxter: if i had my yang blade with me id probably kill you in a few hits being that i usually have around 10-50 yang points whereever i go, so if archer falls to warlock( I.E. you) then said warlock would be too weak to fight samurai (I.E. me) I totally agree, though we must not forget the pitch slingers ability to damage many units over the path his projectile flies(he can hit melee units below the tower) and damage many units through this way. for moo moo: and if u want a samurai to fight of your enemy why fucking put him on a tower, put a ranged unit or geisha on it... and let him fight below?? and dont forget the powder keg can barely aim accurately.... he always fucking missesm unless the enemy stands still or runs towards him!!!!.!!!
HeartBreakKid 0 #77 Posted April 3, 2010 all watchtowers are useful. but the dragons' is the best. once you use it, you will be given enough time killing enemies w/o taking damage
daemonprince666 1 #78 Posted August 13, 2010 For crowd control: Pitch Slingers, Cannoners, For few but powerful units: Samurai, Balistaman, Druidess For something in between:Archer
DaTaBLitZ001 3 #79 Posted December 22, 2010 Mine is Archer, longer range and good damage, best for watchtower.
grognard3 0 #80 Posted May 17, 2012 samurai? never train any... prefer to use kabuki and dragon warriors and archers too for towering archers are the best
ron_nald 0 #81 Posted August 20, 2012 thats what i mean when the samurai falls of the tower we will be a good help in protecting your town and try out yourself an archer can kill warlock one on one you see for yourself. i think warlock dousnt deserve to be a 3rd rank unit. oof oof i give up i mean i give up. OK samurai is not the best watcher but arah is the best whatcher for sure. WHY do you want to wait to destroy your watchtower to use your samurai in depending your base in melee hand to hand combat? Seraphim' timestamp='1169261838' post='23085']Whenever I see an opponent with sams in towers it brings a smile to my face Yeah me too... BUT if the guard in the watchtower was the powder keg.. it make me feel to quickly burn down that tower!! Lotus clan- good tower against sword rush Drag clan- good watch tower for stopping enemy plus it stop dc Serp clan- really bad watch tower Wolf clan- its slow enemy + u can atk them with peas while there in slow motion Lotus clan watchtower person- Channelers, unclean. Drag clan watchtower person- geisha,Archers with long range and upgrade the atk. Serp clan watchtower person- Longrange canonners, or healer. Wolf clan- i prefer Ballistick i dont like driods in watchtower its not soo powerful enough to kill anything all it do is stop enemy and -1 of its life Enjoy HAHA ,, serpent'S watchtower was also powerful.. if all your army will be blind because of the serpnt's watctower,, then all your army will become very very vulnerable,, and ALL the damage that they will take will be very very efective to them..!! jirooryuji 2 #82 Posted September 6, 2012 I'd rather say Arah or 4 watchtowers = 4 cannoneirs
mechamagos 0 #83 Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) DRAGON HAS BEST WATCHER OUT OF ALL CLANS BY WATCHER I MEAN A GUY ON A WATCHTOWER .......... SAMURAI IS THE BEST WATCHER. I can't help but feel the samurai is going to do a lot more good fighting on the ground than in the air. Archers are much more vulnerable, so allowing them to shelter in the tower is a better idea, don't you think? Edit: but now that we're on the subject, what is better, archer or powder keg cannoneer? Is there an obvious choice here? Because I can't help but feel you're just picking between different armour piercing types... Chemists can have AoE damage, as well, so maybe them?
