Tell me about it. My gf went to a better school and makes more money than me. She also brags about it. My ego is not liking it.

But it in defense of men, we still get paid on average higher than female counter parts. Males are genetically more competitive and also they are also less likely to quit a job for family reasons.

Wanna know something else interesting? Tall people make more money too. Most CEOs are taller than 6 feet.

I didn't know most CEOs were on the tall side actually, though it makes sense. At least in the traditional depiction of a great leader they always seem taller than the rest of the crowd. Maybe why napoleon was always pictured alone?

Yeah no problems with female dominance. If you think about the preference of female children over male there would eventually be many more girls then boys...and shifting the odds in our favor doesn't hurt at all

There is alot of stuff at my work I can do that no one else can't simply given my height. Also Victoreem, I believe the population is something like 60% female 40% male dude.

Already every school I went to had more girls in a class than boys. And not just in this country.

Just to ruin it for you haha:

Keep in mind, there are also setbacks for being too tall. Your power to weight ratio is reduced. Also, your heart has a hard time pumping blood through such a height delta. Most people who live very long aren't very tall. While there is a trend between height and pay, its a weak trend. There are a lot of variability in pay within a given height bracket. Most CEOs are tall, but not everyone tall are CEOs.

I could see it, definitely in 10 years or so. I imagine it really depends on the institution, but there's a strong leaning towards females in the ratio at my school. My school still offers a lot more incentive programs and scholarship deals to females than it does males though. (In particular, with mothers.) In five to ten years however, if male society were wiling to admit it's new stature in the work force, we could possibly see school incentives directed towards males. I know there are male teacher programs here in Cali already. Where you can get extra funding to get your teaching credentials if you're male.

If I were you, I'd worry less about girls and more about ASIANS. The average population is 4.5% Asian. The average University population is 30% Asian (at least the good ones). Thats far more lopsided than 3-4% due to gender.

To be honest, the dramatic level to which my local college has filled with asians now versus when I went only five years ago has been so severe that I didn't even notice. Having read your post yesterday, and attended class today, I took the time to do a mental census. My intro classes are easily 40%, with my special interest classes at 50%. I wonder if there's any underlying connection between the rise of asains in educational institutions and the rise of women in the work place.
