Oww My Nose 19 #26 Posted July 14, 2010 While that is true for desktops, have fun building your own laptop for half the price with the same parts. On topic, other people have been h8n on Audio FX Pro 5.1 headsets idc. I can wear them for hours and they won't get uncomfortable, they sound good, and have good directional sound. Only thing I can say that might be a con is they don't get recognized in an Ubuntu virtual machine I run on my computer. Works fine for me though, it's an easy way to play music through my speakers, and listen to TF2 through the headset

Same stupid people making the same stupid posts. MikeC you got your answer, why make another thread again a year later? You think you can find a better 150$ headset option than 300+ reviews with a 95% composing of 5 star reviews?
Oww My Nose 19 #28 Posted July 14, 2010 For some reason, I'm still using this headset... wonder if that speaks to the fact that it works for me, and appears to last more than 6 months.
Krash 1,040 #29 Posted July 14, 2010 Normal television is played at 24 fps. I record fraps at 40 fps, and play most games at about 100 to 120. The game is playable at 50, starts to get choppy from 40 down.

FunkyFresh 68 #31 Posted July 14, 2010 Still going to suggest that y'all just get a pair of headphones with a standalone mic, woop woop.
Solidus_Snake 0 #32 Posted July 15, 2010 I know it's not a headset, but I spent $90 recently on a pair of AKG 240 Studio Headphones and they are amazing. I'm not an audophile, but I wanted more out of my music I was listening to through crappy Sony street-style headphones that are about five years old or so.
