Banned Because I Was In A Steam Group -.-

Ok, so first off, let me say I have never cheated in any of Lotus's servers, as well I have never even been successfully votebanned.

Just because I am in my friend's steam group Lotus Patrol, I get banned from your server without even any screenshot or demo proof.

Just because I joined a steam group I was invited to, it should not be a reason to ban me...

ALSO, just something I want to add: no one in Lotus Patrol (to my knowledge) ever even tried to impersonate any Lotus members.

If you were actually even somewhat active in the server, you would know that the we put our names to that not to impersonate him, but just for a screenshot. I don't know who took the screenshot, however it was not me. After the screeny was taken we changed our names back. In all honesty, I had that as my name for less than 15 seconds. Try looking deeper into a matter before jumping to assumptions. As well, I did not even know that the L R 666 guy was a member, he never said he was, and he had no tag on whatsoever that indicated he was in Lotus. He was impersonating being an admin, which im pretty sure isn't something that what you call "recruits" should be doing. He was telling the server that he was an admin, and people believed him because of the green writing. I just assumed he was a donator or something, and didn't change my name to his for that brief period of time (as mentioned above) to impersonate him, like I said before.

P.S. I am not trying to fool anyone, that would be pointless... All I am doing is being honest and explaining what most people don't realize because they jump to conclusions.

I find it quite unprofessional of you, well also immature that you say you would ban me as I only votebanned people who were obviously cheating. Go in the server once in a while if you would like to know whats happening in it, instead of taking action based on things that kids tell you

You think impersonating a Lotus Recruit for 15 seconds makes it better than 15 minutes? Or 15 hours? You did it, so take responsibility for your actions. It's posted on this site that if you impersonate a Lotus member or recruit, you will be banned. Congrats!!!

He had no clear indiciation that he was a Lotus recruit, so how would anyone know that he was? He never mentioned that he was either. So if I had no way of knowing that he was a member, how is it fair to ban me for that and just assume that I did this maliciously?

I think I should get atleast a second chance, and if I do anything like this again, feel free to ban me for as long as you want.

Last night I got a "friend request" from ASDF. I accepted not realizing who this was, but after I accepted I checked out the "recent aliases" and realized it was ixcel.

First he asked me to make a reply to his banned thread asking for him to be unbanned. Not sure why he would even HOPE I would do that, but I didn't even dignify him with a reply. I was going to block communications and remove him from my friend list after I was done gaming, but before I had a chance to do so I get this nasty string of text:

asdf: hey

asdf: HELLOO

asdf: kk

asdf: had chance to answer

asdf: have fun

asdf: dont lag out or anything man

It was _probably_ just a coincidence, as attributing this to these clowns gives them too much credit - but the server I was playing on (CS:S BETA Dust2) lagged out for ALL players about 5 minutes after I received that chat. The lag was unbearable, and people couldn't even leave spawn - this lasted for about 4 minutes before the server returned back to normal. This occurred at approx 6pm EST Mon Oct 31st.

Again, I doubt it was these clueless kids - but thought I should mention it just in case.
