Danos 0 #5 Posted October 9, 2007 how i can make bridges? the only thing which is wrong is the stone-ground at the bases
{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #6 Posted October 19, 2007 Well, bridges can be made by making a bit of land that goes past a bunch of either very deep land, water, or allows scaling of a hill. Unless someone corrects me or has something else to add to that, I shall now pass my final judgement based on my criteria since I also played the map... Overall likeness: Great..but.. Size based on number of players: Decent Ability to defend well in your start spot: Fair.. Distance between rice and water: Better than most.. Amount of rice: Good.. Ease of use for strategies based on map: Meh...half and half.. Ease of use of minimap: Terrible.. Lighting balance: poor...hence my rating for the minimap.. Name of Map compared to actual map: mediocre..(says it is a cave, but has no cave feel like my cave map "Dungeon of Secrets"... Final point grade: 3/
Sinophile 41 #7 Posted October 21, 2007 I think it could be improved by putting lots of opportunity for ambushes. I really like games when theres ambushes, Its a nice break from the standard "make a huge army" style games. It also forces people to use scouts and think at a higher strategic level. Maybe you could place boulders at the top of hills, or steep valleys in the main paths.
Aramid 2 #8 Posted November 24, 2007 I wished he would have put more trees and grass fields with a nature loving sound to reflect the butterfly Cave. Anyway, It is a cave so hmmm..... I guess rock tiles are common and shale spiders too. The nature environment could be place on the side borders of your map. Too make the map more attractive, put more various colors in it.
