I don't agree with that lady's opinion but those people are wrong to attack her like that. This is nothing new though, spend a day on the official WoW forums and try to read all the qq and threatening posts people make before they are deleted or closed. There's many of those threads that stay open and even get responses from Blizzard and they are all about kids demanding various changes to something they don't like.

One recent issue Blizzard had to address was their new Yearly Subscription service. In an attempt to reduce the massive number of cancellations they were suffering Blizzard introduced a new Yearly Subscription that once you sign up for it you are legally bound to a contract that does not allow you to cancel your WoW subscription for an entire year instead of the normal month to month model. If you at any time dispute the charges with your credit card in an attempt to get out of the contract your are permently banned from all Blizzard games and can even have future accounts denied if you try signing back up.

To sweeten the deal Blizzard offered a bunch of freebies to the people who signed up for the program with in the first few weeks of it launching. In exchange for for being some of the first people to sign up the players we also given a free mount for use in WoW and they will also receive a free copy of Diablo III when it is released and they will receive a garunteed Beta invite to the next WoW expansion. But those freebies have notyhing to do with the contract, they are strictly rewards for being one of the first people to sign up for the program.

Those 3 perks ended up being a deciding point for many people but some of those people went too far. Some players started making threats to Blizzard claiming that Diablo III has not been released quick enough and therfore Blizzard is in breech of contract and they said they were going to take them to court to get out of their contracts. Blizzard responded by publicly smacking those people and pointing out that the contract is for their WoW subscription only and perks they got for signing up early do not change the terms of the contract.

The truth is many people got excited about the perks and just wanted to get those perks so they could try and skip out on the contract they agreed to.
