I personally prefer the degreaser but that's more so because I'm a terrible pyro. tf2outpost probably has them as well

Mah Vintage Backburner is better.

I dislike playing Pyro as well, I find the Degreaser to be the best weapon I'm able to use when playing, although Strange Flamethrower is useful for when supporting your Engies. The Backburner I use when playing old-school QWTF/TFC Pyro. (Yes, I played and still play the game that while is old, without it you can't play your stupid TF2)

Take a look at the combinations, there's quite a few tactics and tips that can help you uber-pwn the nubs.

I think CP_Foundry is the best map for Pyro.

I know the backburner is not kind as far as the amount of ammo it goes through when you blow rockets/people, but I find it matches my style of play better than the other pyro weapons. I would like to think I get more out of it.

Whatever works for you. Even if you have to get a piece of the map to beat people to death with! XD

That's what I like about the Burner, careless Pyros will try to blow back my rockets...and SOL out of ammo. >3
