Votekick Abuse L-R | Goh The Crow

Today around 12:30pm EST your recruit has been abusing the votekick command to kick [MAD] Kimbo. I do not know both of them, but it's been annoying, everytime he would start votekick, it would not pass, so he would start another one shortly. Happened at least 20 times within 15 minutes, until finally people voted him Yes. Reason for kicking was SPAM, even though the Kimbo kid rarely wrote anything in chat, I am sure the actualy reason was because your recruit has been killed by Kimbo kid multiple times. Kimbo was good, dominated lots of players and I believe he was kicked for that.

I have played with Goh, and unfortunately he has initiated several votekicks without a good reason in the past.

Kimbo is a griefer, however continuing to make multiple votekicks that fail isn't alright. To pewbs, you should make a demo of his actions next time.

Sorry. In simple math, 3/4 does not equal 20. However, it's a good try. Plus, I didn't always initiate. But hey. Once again, good try. And I tend to find Kimbo randomly yelling donator/lotus faggots/hackers as "spam" or "Griefing." So yea, I did try to votekick. And if it fails by 1%, I will try two or three times. Considering it worked..

but I also kicked Kimbo today, same as I did last week,

because he is a weird gamer, he won't listen to any please not insult / votekick every one who kills him.

He is a mad guy who does not response in chat but his own insults.

People on the server's get sick of their game being interrupted by constant votes. I'd advise against multiple votes personally, instead call an admin.

A few things to be of note, since OP said he killed him alot i assume they were not on the same team and therefore wouldn't be able to tell if he was mic spamming or not.

Then there's where you said 20 votekicks in 15 minutes, there's (somewhere around) a 5 minute cooldown between votekicks, so that is beyond impossibru .

However if this did happen, you should have just grabbed some evidence and posted a player complaint about it, i am sure he would have got the according punishment.

I think he 'thought' he was able to handle it himself when he is in no way of an Admin. The one who posted the complaint is also to be scolded for not providing evidence, hard to nail someone without it eh?

I know for a fact i did a votekick shortly after someone did and it said "Wait 370 seconds" which is atleast 6 minutes.

But yea, i agree Ajju proof was needed, but i suppose that's why this thread is here and not in the complaint section though.

I've seen it at 60 seconds as well. Maybe it's based on how many ppl are logged in or some other unknown variable?

The variable, being the percentage of the votes? Not true. We being members, admins or donors get no extra privilege of the such. That I know of

Though as admin, we can just kick, and ban instantly.
